It makes the team look like orderlies. Lily white comes to mind or heavenly or angelic all which implies ‘ not so threatening ‘ or ‘ tough ‘. Correct me if I’m wrong but they have a better record in the black goatheads. Perhaps the goatheads gives the guys a psychological lift. Rasmus Dahlin recently said the guys loved playing in the goatheads. Hockey players are a superstitious lot and maybe they feel less capable in the angelic whites ?

Thats a cagey team and its obvious we have a ways to go to truly compete with the likes of them. With that being said watching these kids try and figure it out was fun. Thats a level they will eventually get to. Hate to lose but I enjoyed the game.

This team. Omg. The Winnipeg color guy said multiple times that the Sabres just weren’t very good defensively even as they controlled play in the Jets zone for large parts of the game. Pretty much dominated with the Jets shot count hovering around 11 for most of the 2nd and into the 3rd. That was a statement game imo and this team just put the league on notice. I was entertained.
