Hopefully GMTM realizes we've thrown the season despite what he says publicly about his coach by endorsing him. Perhaps he just didn't want to pull the rug out from under him in season thinking we still had a chance to sneak in. Well that time has passed.

Before every game he tells the guys we have to be careful with these guys. Like you said he plays not to lose. Instead of dictating play and letting the other team adjust he allows the other team to dictate play and he tries to adjust and he's not very good at it. All friggin season long. Its the same old same old. He puts the fear of God into his own young team by telling them that theres a good chance we can not beat these guys and we have to play cautious. Loser mentality begets losses.

That last goal was the sabres season in a nutshell. A Mr. Bean moment that basically sums it all up for me.

That was a depressing read but thanks anyways. This guy has got to go. c) is the one that I fear. another wasted year where the kids show little to no growth. There'd be a mutiny if this guy can't change his ways.

If this team comes out of the gate next season and shites the bed we may never catch up. Missing the playoffs again with this coach will cause even the most faithful of fans to revolt. This off season is going to be career defining for Murray and sticking with a coach that stinks up the first month of the season could break him in Buffalo.
