Pilut is the future fo sure but I sure like having a guy who is willing to drop the gloves occasionally to keep the other side honest. He isn't a goon in the truest sense of the word but he is the only guy we have capable of filling that role. I may be in the minority but I still believe you need some sort of a deterent. Either that or a great Power play which we just don't have.

I agree on Rodrigues. The guy is a college star. I don't think that will translate at this point. How long do you give him? Also I just don't see the positives Okposo brings that others seem to see. Casey has the skill and needs time. We had a shite ton oof passengers today. There's just no excuse for that. Okposo says they all hold each other accountable in the room. Thats easy to say when you're winning. I call bullspit right now. These guys played like they quit after the first. They certainly couldn't match Phillies speed or intensity.

Watching the young D men make rookie mistakes and recover or not is nerve racking but softened by the knowledge that some of these guys will be driving offence from the back end for hopefully the next decade in the case of Dahlin. Pilut has really impressed me in the few games he's played to date. Watching them both develop and learn the N.H.L. game will be a hoot.
