  1. I think I’m right in adding Denis Hamel to that list... Ni matter, let’s see a win tonight...
  2. I only ever sat in the oranges once, and that was for a St. Bonaventure - Notre Dame basketball game. Every Sabres game I saw there i was in the blues/reds. Still, what a magnificent dump... it was our building...
  3. Eh, I'd say he's the third of three, Mogilny didn't exactly cover himself in glory in his way out the door... but if I leave everyone on this board with one impression of me, I do hope it's my Captain Ahab-level hatred of Dougie Garbage. To the last, I grapple with him. From the bowels of hell, I stab at him. For hate's sake I shall spit out my last breath at him.... His mailing it in coupled with Darcy's bungling the Peca situation cost the Sabres a cup in 2001, and I will not be convinced otherwise.
  4. Also, and it's a minor thing but it's doing my head in for some reason, the forwards and defense are in numerical order, but the goalies are backwards...
  5. They should just paint a "C" onto Hutton's mask like Vancouver did with Luongo. Make everyone really mad online.
  6. 1000 times this. I don't care if he went off and fixed himself this summer and plays out of his skull on the Island, subtracting Lehner from this team is probably going to be the best move made, IMHO.
  7. That would be the garbage in question, yes.
  8. Was gonna, but Flagg did. Boom.
  9. Grosek for Dumont (and some garbage)!
  10. Putin somehow has five of them already...
  11. Crosby’s s**thousery is well underplayed in general. Signed, Mark Methot’s fingers...
  12. If they don't send him down in 30 days / or he plays in ten games they have to waive him again if they want to send him down.
  13. He cleared waivers, but was never sent down. Looks like he’ll be on the big squad, at least to start.
  14. Peters weighed in blaming Sundqvist a second ago. Effing troglodytes.
  15. Tom Wilson doing Tom Wilson things... guess he learned that lesson after all.
  16. That it carried over in the move to the new board is SDS's greatest achievement, IMHO.
  17. Thompson and Nylander working in while both Girgensons and Pomminstein are evidently in the top 12 is giving me the vapors...
  18. Warning, the following response contains Extraordinary Levels of Pedantry: Not necessarily. They can be sent down within 30 days or before they play 10 games if they clear, but are not required to (they'd just have to be waived again before being sent down once one of those becomes the case). Somebody could hurt a knee, spontaneously combust, get caught crossing the border with a whole bunch of schedule II narcotics between now and Tuesday, when final (opening night) rosters need to go in. Of course, there's no mechanism like there is in baseball to recall someone from waivers if claimed, so you're 99.9% right. Though, to answer @Randall Flagg 's question above, there is literally no reason they'd be waived if that wasn't the idea.
  19. Wet Ham playing ManU right out of the stadium so far this morning. 2-0 just before halftime, very much deserved. Personally, I am here for every single second of Jose Mourinho driving United off a cliff.
  20. Wait, what? Eichel?
  21. Surprised Asplund didn't get at least the last preseason game. I think Mitts and Tage are locks now, Nylander gets one last kick at the can.
  22. The only reason I became aware of said proceedings was that I went to leave the office but looked up and the screen and realized I'd have nailed the bride with the door had I opened it. And it's a windowless, bulletproof steel slab. I decided to hold off.
  23. There is a couple getting married right outside the door to my office in the rain at this exact moment. I'm watching the proceedings on the security camera. I have so many questions.
  24. Interesting, and infuriating. They're going to confirm him. This, the hard-right control of the Supreme Court for the next generation, is literally the last installment on the price that they (the entire Republican establishment) negotiated in exchange for their souls in 2016. I'm laughing, but only to prevent myself from lighting things on fire.
  25. End-stage capitalism, baby.
