Chelsea completely run off the pitch by Spurs today. 3-1 with Chelsea's goal coming in garbage time. It's hard to believe this is the first game they've lost this season, they're not very good.
I hate-watched this game. Palace were incredibly unlucky not to win. They made some good chances but just couldn't finish. Jose is taking his scheduled 3rd season meltdown to near performance-art levels with this bunch. Love it.
Looking at the rest of the schedule, there was a three-game stretch 10/25-10/30 where we saw backups in a row, against MTL, CBJ, and CAL. So, by my calculation, we've had four games against backups so far this year just because.
Just from the win streak (I'm bored at work right now)
11/8 MTL: Price
11/10 VAN: Markstrom
11/13 TBL: Dominque (Vasilevsky hasn't played since the game before this)
11/16 WPG: Brossiot (looked, definite choice to play the backup)
11/17: MIN: Dubnyk
11/19 PIT: DeSmith (Started again against Dallas two nights later, Murrary hurt again?)
11/21 PHI: Lyon played his first game, but goaltending for Philly is just the worst.
So, on the win streak that's one intentional playing the backup...
Puck was gone.
The incredulity of the Philly shills on the broadcast makes me want to set fires. Yes, you *****, it's a trip.
Quite literally out his stick between ERod's legs, which he then tripped over. Dictionary definition of tripping.
