Aided and abetted by a pliant press more concerned with ad revenues than their own role in ushering us toward the apocalypse, nihilist lefties (and I suppose righties) who refuse to learn the lesson of 2000, and a whole bunch of people who just can't stand Hillary for reasons, I guess). We really should have seen this coming after Trump's first abortive attempt at the GOP nomination in 2011 and the GOP's response in the form of Palin.... it was never going to improve.

I think it's an over elaborate game of chicken between the remaining RFA D's, their respective GM's, each other, and so on. Nobody wants to swerve first, somebody's going to have to. Once the first guy signs, the market's defined and the rest get done quickly.
