Interesting. I didn't know they played the football games later for some reason. Of course, I haven't watched a football game in over a decade so there's a lot I don't know. You're right though, not likely to pull in casual viewers. I bet all sorts of money the ridiculous NFL pregame shows crush it ratings wise.

I feel your pain on this issue. I wasn't able to obtain a lerner's permit until I was almost 18 because the NY DMV would not accept my (military) hospital birth certificate either, and questioned my citizenship. I was not born in the United States, the Army sent the exact same one when we asked for it. It took my mother a few calls to our Congressman's office for it to be straightened out. I now have a birth certificate signed by the Secretary of State (at the time). Paperwork....
