You have to be kidding me. Of all times to remember the refs have whistles...
-
Welp. My bracket looks more or less boned three games into the first round. Again. It's almost as if I have no idea what I'm doing when I try to pick these things.

Kassian trade paying big dividends right now for Oilers...

His sideburns, tho... -
Stop it, you.

I'm pretty confident about my Caps in 4 pick. Toronto isn't going to get a better opportunity than last night with the relative performance levels of both teams. Unless, of course, they do. Nah.
-
They could, in theory, pick more than three goalies and make a few trades afterward. Not that I'd expect McPhee to be that creative.

Montreal is the second placed division winner, so they get the wild card team with the most points irrespective of division. Not going to speculate on KO, other than the Sabres wouldn't be screwed with his cap bit if he's on LTIR, or the Russian dude I know nothing about. As to your last question, in general, no.
-
Parise ties it for the wild w/ 26 seconds left and an empty net. Playoffs are good.

GM Tim Murray - Time for a serious conversation

Broken clock, blind squirrel, and so on. -
Now, now. In fairness, they both contributed equally after Larsson's season-ending injury.
-
No on both counts. Sutter is slightly more of a dinosaur than Disco. Lombardi needs to atone (but never will) for his distasteful role in the Voyanov circus. Also, not the best of GMs.

Tomorrow per something I read, probably on here somewhere.

Oh my goodness, you guys, I got it to work.

I find your sudden urge to retcon OSP into something other than a placeholder owner looking to make a buck and definitely not to spend any at all, with disastrous on-ice consequences, so that you may further beat the anti-Tpegs drum in as many ways as you can, to be a bit rich. But whatever.
-
Too soon.
-
There are many legitimate sticks with which to beat current ownership. Why you insist on fashioning your own weird ones is beyond me.

The longer I ponder it (why I'm pondering, I have no idea) the more I'm beginning to believe that the older guys, both in terms of performance on ice and (suddenly there's evidence of) crapulence off it, have in fact been the problem with this team all year. Player wise, anyway. No covering for Disco.
-
I'm in. Can't possibly it as hard as I did last year. But I suppose we shall see.

Was this the hardest season for the fans in Sabres history?
Sabel79 replied to dudacek's topic in The Aud Club
I'd have to say the post-Rigas NHL owned years were the worst as a fan. On-ice issues aside, the sword of Damocles was, if I may paraphrase Rocky Horror, hanging over our heads (oooooohhhh ah ah ah ah) as far as what was going to happen long term. Then OSP at least ensured the franchise stayed put. So there was that. -
I am much, much angrier about the Pit-Tor game tonight than I have been about any Sabres game (and there's been lots to be angry about were I so inclined) in years. I don't know what this says about me.

Argh. Come on, Penguins.
-
Oh the Laffs tie it...
-
Bump.

I've played gym class floor hockey more intense than this game. Yeesh.
