The Silence of The Lambs "I'm having a friend for dinner"
-
There was a guest on WGR that stated teams can contact Sam's agent to talk about what kind of contract numbers they'd be looking for.

In terms of trade value it's Jack and not close. Jack's term alone will dictate that. If phrased without "trade" in value I think it's Sam. The team that gets Sam will give up less, try to sign him for 6.5-7 and they'll end up with more value. Sam will consistently produce and be available. Of the approximate 20 players making 10 mil or more, Jack is near the bottom of that chart for value IMO. I think it's possible that he's benefitted from being on the Sabres in terms of points. If asked to be more efficient and structured, he may produce less and I don't believe he'll ever provide leadership. I could definitely see a team having buyers remorse with Jack and the team that acquiring Sam won't. So in those terms I'd say Sam will have more value in the future.

Big fan of the Bersa .380 It won't break the bank and meets the needs you've described.

Why isn't Granato being interviewed for the other openings? -
There's other ways to be smart with 17 million a season. I just don't think those two play the type of hockey, that if we get there, we'd go far.
-
My loyalty is to the Sabres not players. I won't be upset if Eichel goes. I also think we have another chance to be good with a few decisions made correctly. The more I watch playoff hockey, the more I think Eichel and Sam are the type of players that would easily get neutralized. So I don't want to build with them any longer. I'm ready to try and build differently.

We have a legitimate pipeline now, IMO.

We would not survive a game like this.

There's a substantial difference between a boycott and being disinterested. The reason, IMO, for the drop-off is we should have been better and weren't. There are legitimate reasons though if we take a step back. That's why I'm against a so called boycott but respect they need to earn viewership. I get that we feel that there's seemingly little to feel hopeful about but there's plenty.

If enough fans do what you suggest, then that's a bad thing. Hurting them financially, while certainly understandable and our decision, won't help the team.

Totally understand why you'd say this but it's definitely not a good thing.

I grew with Ninos in West Seneca. Little greasy but really good.

Fleury is amazing today. He would have helped us tremendously.

That's not the analogy. It's, if you don't know how to dance would you rather go to the dance with someone that knows how to or with someone who doesn't and hope you figure it out? The point isn't to experience the dance together, it's to learn how to dance.

Text messages evidence would be all that's needed to prove this ex players case. Holy crap that's bad if true.

10 Best Sabres players currently (injured or not)

I'm just not understanding how many posters I greatly respect like McCabe. -
GO - dang

You know hockey a heck of a lot more than me but I'm surprised. I hate McCabe and he's one of my least favorite players.
