  1. The antithesis of the "Emperor has no clothes" fable.
  2. https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/96810978/milton-w-ellis
  3. I really liked him in the Prospects Challenge, last year as well.
  4. Yeah, it's like you know the relationship is over.
  5. Kulich's body of work includes 50+ goals in 120 AHL games. He should get a legitimate shot to make the this team at camp. No one should be penciled in after 13 years without playoffs, especially free agent pickups just to make Adams look good, when some "prospect" outearns them.
  6. Vinnie Prospal after practice: "Marty I liked, 'cause Marty's a great guy. Marty!... Hey!"
  7. It's now an intentionally inflammatory title. That right there should exclude you from ever sitting on a jury.
  8. I get your emotion, but it's not murder; it's manslaughter
  9. A factor that could have an effect on which of these possible prognostications prevails is situational player deployment. How many times was Granato questioned on those decisions? While Granato's strengths as a developmental coach were acknowledged, presumably Ruff possesses far better experiential instincts and aptitude in regard to who to put on the ice in a given situation, which may commensurately improve outcomes.
  10. Yes, seriously! You sound like a drama queen. Early in his career with the lacklustre NY Rangers, regularly facing 40 to 50 shots a night, Gump Worsley was asked: "Which team gives you the most trouble?" His reply: "The New York Rangers." Accused by Rangers' coach Phil Watson of having a beer belly, he replied, "Just goes to show you what he knows. I only drink Johnnie WalkerRed." Apparently, you missed those days; when men were men.
  11. Then again, if it was public knowledge that there were those in the organization who were against acquiring a specific player out of concerns said player was lacking, you might find that rare blossom of personal character who, rather than caving to butt hurt and resentment, steels himself through hard work, grit, and determination so as to prove his detractors wrong. After all, it is a men's professional league, and that may be the more precise recipe for finding out who "likes to bump people", and is hard to play against.
  12. Valid point, which comes across in the conversations with the free agents they signed; they uniformly seemed to recognize a vision, and the prospective roles and contributions they can add.
