  1. Let’s go boys. Be a tough team to play against.
  2. It’s probably due to watching too many Lindy interviews, but I am exceedingly excited to watch this squad. Nice to have a Sabres distraction after the Bills dud on Sunday night!
  3. Incredible. Absolutely incredible display so far. So much fun to watch.
  4. It is just such a delight watching Josh Allen. He reminds me of Barry Sanders in that there is always a possibility that he might do something that should only happen in a video game.
  5. Impaired driving doesn’t seem to receive the notoriety that it did a few decades ago. Given the available transportation options in today’s world, it is an even more reprehensible act of recklessness.
  6. Brothers together for a bike ride days before their sister’s wedding. Awful.
  7. Agreed on both sentiments. This certainly looks like the embodiment of “in sickness and in health.” So, maybe that is what Terry is supposed to do. But, this just makes me respect Terry a lot. Looks like pure devotion. And, the picture demonstrates the fight in Kim.
  8. I always enjoyed John Murphy. As a yute, used to listen to his sports talk show on WBEN every night. Godspeed!
  9. https://www.audacy.com/wben/news/sabres/listen-ruff-you-have-to-win-fans-back-by-playing-good-hockey-and-winning-games I think reading Lindy’s letter to Sabres fans/business partners is worth the two minutes. Regardless of who crafted the letter (i.e., Sabres PR), the sentiment sounds genuine. I think Lindy can get these guys to play like their hair is on fire. At this point, that would be a huge step in the right direction.
  10. I am a big Lindy fan. Admittedly, it’s a little strange to see him back with the Sabres after all this time. But, very happy to see it. As he stated, he knows what it is like when this team is playing games that matter. There is no doubt in my mind that he will get this team to a place where they are playing into May. He might not be the guy that gets this team to a place where they are playing into June. We’ll see. Nevertheless, a proven pro has entered the chat.
  11. It’s astonishing how quickly the players appear to universally admit that the work ethic was not there. Glad GMKA made the move, but FHCDG doesn’t deserve his former subordinates throwing dirt on his grave.
  12. Could Adams have done this better this year? Most certainly. Really seems like it comes down to ownership though. Team was able to sell hope going into this season. What are they selling going into next season? Another head coach? A new GM? A retread or no-name won’t move the needle. Only thing that would spark my imagination is a proven front office executive who is empowered to remove the stench of futility from the organization. Short of that, hard to imagine there is a free agent splash or big name/big salary in the offing. I don’t want TP to sell. I just want him to show that he cares just even a little about the team that means so much to all of us.
  13. Denver dominated for ten minutes in the second. In the third, it felt like BC would never break through. And they didn’t. Almost entire season at the top of the heap. Heartbreaker for those kids.
  14. Not pulling UPL after the third goal last night is when I gave up on Granato. UPL has been a revelation this year. He deserved better, and the team clearly needed a shakeup. There are only 30 of these jobs. GMKA should be able to find the right one for this team. Right?!?! Or is it TP that finds the coach? If that’s the case, this team is officially screwed.
  15. This is correct.
  16. I won’t let facts get in the way of my irrational rant. Haha.
  17. I am positive Lindy knows more about assembling a winner than anyone that has been in the front office since 2013. Maybe GMKA is a genius, and just totally inhibited by Terry. There’s probably a good chance of that. However, I think Ruff brings more gravitas than KA, and certainly the rest of the clown show that has occupied upstairs since Regier’s departure.
  18. Do we have to wait until the offseason to recognize Adams as Executive of the Year? Pretty impressive roster construction. How did he ever manage to steal Comrie away from the rest of the league? Pegula should sign Adams up to a lifetime contract before someone tries to poach him from this organization.
  19. Fire Don and Adams before the horn sounds tonight. Hire Ruff as President by midnight. Give him carte blanche for tomorrow’s deadline. Tear it down again, but this time with someone who knows what he is doing. First player traded should be whomever thought up that stupid stick salute protest. This group of players has the intestinal fortitude of a grape.
  20. Team has been circling the drain since 2011/2012 season. Only one head coach during this period of remarkable futility has left Buffalo to be the head guy for another team. Lindy would be the best head coaching hire since…Lindy. That doesn’t mean the Sabres should hire him. The last time the team reached back to former glory (Pat LaFontaine) didn’t work. But, at least it would be interesting. This team is aggressively uninteresting.
  21. For so many reasons, I am happy fighting is on the fringe of NHL games. I wouldn’t hate some old time hockey tonight though.
  22. This team endured an insane amount of injuries. They fought to the end. I love being a Bills fan. But, please, win it all before I die.
  23. Vrabel does concern me. However, that team is largely devoid of offensive talent. And, the defense is good, but I think that can be attributed to Belichick. I expect the Patriots will be a mess for a few years. Think that mess could have been avoided if Kraft/Belichick agreed to a truce where Bill coached and someone new signed free agents/drafted. I need the Patriots to be bad for a good long while. It’s finally fun to be a Bills fan in Boston.
  24. Nice to see Belichick leave New England. Terrible GM, but still an awesome coach. No way Patriots are a significant threat anytime soon.
  25. I am not smart enough to understand fancy stats when it comes to Skinner. I do know he seems like a good dude, scores a lot of goals, and persevered during Krueger. That’s enough in my book to make him a really nice player to have on this team.
