  1. I will miss this year’s team. Provided incredible entertainment from early September until the week before Groundhog Day. One day the run will end differently, and we’ll be there to celebrate. Enjoy your football break.
  2. Agreed on this. Although, the Dolphins game wound up being tighter than it should have been. Maybe a tough opponent in the first found gets them ready for a long run. Here’s hoping!
  3. Glad to see Levi finding success in the AHL. Hope he’s able to spend another two or three months with the Americans. Really want this kid to develop into a piece of the future. GMKA, please do not rush him.
  4. The McDermott “palm tree” reference definitely struck me as bizarre. If you’re going to make the joke, why go all the way back to 2017? Because you don’t want to bring anyone in to the joke but yourself and a former player in the interest of not ruffling feathers too much? So much effort for a joke and/or jab. That said, I love it (assuming it was a jab). McDermott, Beane and others have gone to great lengths to praise WNY and the fans. I assume McDermott must cringe at GMKA for blaming anyone but himself for the recent failures of the Sabres organization. As a WNY guy, it was a particularly weak showing by GMKA.
  5. Me too. Christmas gift for my Patriots diehard/Bills #2 son who indicates that he will be wearing both his Drake Maye and Josh Allen jerseys. Santa should have waited for the end of the season to play out before putting these tickets under the tree.
  6. I am one of those so impacted. With all the Bills game on in the New England market this year, my Sunday Ticket purchase has felt like a huge mistake. Being able to watch the Detroit game will be great; but, goodness, I have never gotten less use out of my ST subscription.
  7. It’s a great point. The Bills are doing well because the people that should be making football decisions are the people that are making football decisions. Sabres will not be relevant until there is a massive overhaul in structure. I cannot imagine Santa will be leaving a lot of Sabres merchandise under the trees this year.
  8. The passion on display in this thread is what makes the players’ apparent indifference even more infuriating. The WNY region would wholeheartedly embrace an emotional, engaged, hardworking, and/or successful hockey team. The fact that the Sabres cannot meet any of those criteria is such an indictment on the ownership, the management, and the players. With the exception of Ruff, there is no indication that anyone associated with the organization gets it. Bizarre that the Bills organization is the total opposite; luck was clearly on their side when they hired McBeane and drafted Allen. I cannot believe I still care so much about the Sabres.
  9. This is the moment. Rock bottom of the Pegula era.
  10. How many times do these players say something like “we thought it was going to be easy”? Who do they think they are? They don’t have the talent to think any game would be easy. Who are the culprits for creating this culture?
  11. You have to make changes tomorrow, right? Isn’t the only immediate change to fire Adams? You can’t fire Ruff, and there is no one I would trust in the organization to make anything close to the appropriate roster moves.
  12. What an absolute embarrassment. This feels utterly hopeless.
  13. How many more years does Kevyn Adams get? His roster construction is terrible, and he handed out some absolutely atrocious contracts to the “core.” It’s bananas that a guy with his background was given to the keys to run an NHL franchise. It’s beyond bananas that this guy continues to have the keys to run an NHL franchise.
  14. Maybe it’s recency bias, but I have never enjoyed a Bills season as much as this one.
  15. If you haven’t had a chance to watch McDermott and Bass in the locker room, definitely check it out. A great display of emotion. It appears Sean is a very good, decent man. And it appears that locker room is awfully close. This has been a fun season.
