Hard to be enamored with anyone associated with this current iteration. Will there be alumni nights at Key Bank for the lovable losers from the 2011-2012 season or any other campaign during the last 15 years? That said, I do worry that Kevyn would get absolutely fleeced on any trade of any player on this roster.

How about Terry transferring managing control of the team to one of his children? What’s the worse that could happen? They fail to qualify for the playoffs for a decade +? I am not sure a sale of the team helps those who care for a NHL team in WNY.

Will the NHL just sit on its hands while Terry refuses to do anything to address this absolute dumpster fire? I think it was Bucky Gleason who said Sabres fans would love Pegula. To the contrary, Tom Golisano looks better and better every year.

Hard to watch last night. Hollins is not a solution to any WR problem, but it would be nice if he still had a spot on the Bills.

A road win by a team that hasn’t made the playoffs in over a decade is always unexpected. Unfortunately, the Sabres always seem to meet expectations.

Great opportunity for the boys to steal a win on the road against a division rival. Bs are scuffling. Crowd should be loud/festive. Get the first goal, and fans could get ornery.

I just cannot root for anything but a win. Do preseason results matter in hockey or football? Not really, but I still want to see my team win those games. I’ll always root for them to win. If the results don’t come, there’s nothing to be done. If the results don’t come, someone with a much bigger stake in the team will make the decisions independent of my on-line snark.

That’s definitely possible. I think this bye week brings changes to the Sabres, Bills, or both.

In all seriousness, I am starting to think the Bills’ bye week might be the time Terry starts making decisions on the Sabres.

Kind of a rough Monday for a terrific owner.
