Bingo! That was the first one. There was one a couple minutes later from the left face off circle. It wasn't a hard shot....just sorta threw it at the net. I commented to my daughter that it looked like he read the scouting report.

I got a chuckle on a couple of o'reillys shots on mr. softy. Seems they were almost antogonistic, for lack of a better word.

I don't think it's laziness. He's used to being able to dominate at that speed. I believe he still needs to get used to the speed of the nhl.

Thanks, pA. I figured the front couple rows would be able to see the crease area, but don't know if the angle of ascent was sufficient to allow further rows to too. I agree about sitting higher. I'm usually happy to sit center ice area in the 300s, but 20 year old daughter has different ideas. Can't imagine why... -

I'll be in the 6th row aisle seat in section directly behind goal we shoot at twice. Will I be able to see the goal line area or will the boards get in the way? Either way I'm excited about the game. I think Eichel has a coming out game of sorts. -
Someone (a couple people maybe) upthread commented about Eichel's impressive defensive zone responsibility. While that's great, I hope his creativity in the offensive zone doesn't suffer for it (and I doubt it will). Just hope I don't see DD channeling his inner Lindy when it comes to dealing with the talent.

Re watched the eichel play to Kane. Eichel totally turned that guy inside out. What a thing of beauty. Jack should easily have 3 or 4 more assists this year.

I haven't watched any non sabres games this year but I've noticed less linesman f***ery with regards to faceoffs. I'm sure it's happened but I don't recall seeing anyone getting thrown out of the circle.

Don't know the reasoning for the change, but previously it was the visiting team that had to have their stick down first I believe.

Game's on MSG now. Maybe they forgot to fall back...
