Danny Briere is my hero!!

IMO, i say this again... our record vs. Montreal and Ottawa kinda worries me. I think we will come up big, get off to a quick 2-0 lead but give it away during the game but end up winning 3-2. Vanek, Briere and Roy with goals.

Islanders have been playing well as of late, look for Satan to have a solid game and Nolan will get his guys up and ready for this game. That said, Sabres won't disappoint on a Holiday and for a crazy crowd at HSBC Arena.... 4-2 Sabres. Vanek, Briere, Kotalik and Spacek with goals. Satan does score one though for the Isles.

Off topic- I heard Jason Peters is hurt? If he doesn't play, we don't win. If the best OLineman plays, we will win! Back on topic, easy win. Sabres have been almost no effort vs. Florida all season, home or away, no doubt Lindy is gonna get the players to be ready, esspicially it's the last game before we play Ottawa again, on Hockey Night in Canada, Ottawa has had our number all year, i think thats a big game, Lindy won't let them plays half-assed tomorrow. 4-1 Buffalo. Yeah, and that makes sense. Let's bench the guy making $2 million who has 6 goals and a nasty shot, and who scored 25 goals last season, so we can play a guy who still needs development Paille with Drury so that a dude can go out and play like 3 minutes a game and have no impact and MAYBE get into a fight once in a while. Peters just needs to go. I can't believe this is even an issue and i can't believe we are slowing down the development of a rising young player because theres a theory that Peters "won" us the game vs. Tampa. Paille on the 4th line adds speed and passing ability, gives the line someone else who can carry the puck with no problems. Hopefully Sabres realize Peters is a failure in pro hockey soon.

Sounds like we have a diehard fan. How lucky are we? Dude, first off, noone cares about basketball. Second of all, even if people do, they don't care about the Spurs. I read an article before the season, and it was obvious they would retire his number this season at some point so they let him decide what game, without hesitation, he said vs. Buffalo! Just thought people should know it was up to him.

Darcy Regier is a genius. And Lindy Ruff is the best coach in the league. I wonder if either US Hockey or Canadian hockey will ask Ruff to coach in the 2010 Olympic Games?

So wtf is going on for tonights game? If Spacek and Pominville can't go... who will play? Funk will need to play like 14 minutes, and would they call Card up as well? And will we see the debut of MacArthur?

NYR coming off a nice win last night in ot but overall we play them pretty good. Sabres are an awesome team the game after a loss and we have a days rest. With this being the last game til Friday, i think the players know they need to get 2 points tonight. That all said, i will say- Sabres- 4 NYR- 2 Briere, Drury, Vanek and Pominville with goals.

If you want to blame Max, i can see how and i kinda see the arguement, but, in tonight's game? No way.... Montreal came into the game defense first and to close down our shooting lane and they did a GREAT job of that. We couldn't set plays up, their defense limited the number of guys we could send to the net and their defense slowed down our offense, but Max was by far the best player on the ice for Buffalo. He was setting up, he had turnovers but he also created more then anybody else. We were unlucky, Novotny could have scored 2 goals but didn't get good looks but the play was there all set up for him by Max. Either way, blaming Max for this game is pretty much just stupid.

And i'd like to add, i think we'll win either way tonight. 4-2. The defense will play a huge game, not allow many chances for Toronto. The offense, will be flying and the PP will be on it's best, scoring atleast 2 goals. Briere, Drury, Novotny and Max with goals.

That's what i also heard on wgr.... Micheal Ryan has been called up from Rochester and will replace Hecht tonight.
