  1. Maybe, But i PAID too. Sorry if the team i care for has me on the edge of my seat. Ive been to countless games, and this was a one-time incident. So, makes me think that this guy was just a hot dog eating, soda pop drinking guy who just wanted to sit back, relax and watch a game. Never before has anyone ever asked me to sit back or tell me how to sit. Bad attitude? I don't care what you're background is, i don't care how much $$ you got, but you ain't gonna tell me how to sit properly. I don't do it on purpose. I was in the 300s, like 8th row up. And while i don't know, i have a real hard time believing that my sitting on the edge really effected the guys view that badly. It just seems to me, the guy wanted to make as little effort as possible from adjusting the way he was sitting to improve his view of the game. Without knowing for certain, i've never crossed that problem, and i've never been asked to "sit back" before. Maybe i've just been lucky? Or maybe this guy is just a lazy ass clown?
  2. Seriously? I don't sit back and watch the games. I don't swear, nor do i stand up randomly (besides breakaways, fights, goals, stuff like that) but i do sit on the edge of my seat. It's just something i do. Does it block or hurt the viewing of the people behind me? Probably. Luckily for me, we're at a hockey game, not in a church. Home opener I was at the game with my gf, and the guy behind me asked me to sit normally so he can see. I just told him not to ever tell me how to sit. The guy was being a tool, so i had to tell him to fvck off later on in the game. If there were kids behind me, i'd sit differently, only out of respect for the kids and not to ruin the game experience for them. But an adult? Essp a guy who pulls the "im a season tix holder" card on me? lol Not a chance.
  3. Former referee Kerry Fraser says the last second goal should not have counted - http://kuklaskorner.com/hockey/comments/lets-review-vaneks-late-game-tying-goal?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  4. Kessel is only 25 and a legit 30 goal scorer. The Sabres would do this trade all day long. You guys are nuts to think otherwise. As DeLuca said though, Leafs laugh and hang up on this. Tyler Myers for Kessel? lol cmon.
  5. Nice win, but realistically, this team wasn't going to lose out until the end of the season. They'll win games here and there. But still they showed big flaws last night.
  6. Link- http://blogs.buffalonews.com/sabres/ Guess we can cross that idea off.
  7. Enroth would need to clear waivers to play in Rochester. But, i have no doubt he would pass with ease.
  8. Speaking about the defense, here is "30 thoughts from Ellitott Friedman" - http://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/opinion/2013/02/30-thoughts-panthers-plan-to-keep-weiss.html
  9. Something i wish d4rksabre could of seen, former RIT player Chris Tanev just rocketed a game winning goal in overtime for Vancouver vs. Edmonton.
  10. And 1-6 in their last 7. This team is a mess. 5 of their next 6 are against divisional teams. Could be the end game to this season.
  11. Anyone selling? Friday night, vs. Boston February 15th.
  12. No playoff wins in 6 years. Slow out of the gate two seasons in a row. 1-5-1 in last 7. But, THATS the "real gut check" for this team? lol cmon...
  13. I want Ruff AND Regier gone too, but let's not get crazy by saying Boston just laid an egg against the Sabres as the only reason why we won. Our team showed up because they were tired of getting punk'd by the Bruins and rise up to the challenge. You must of forgotten the 6-0 Sabres win over the Bruins last year... ?
  14. I really don't understand Leopold. If he goes for the body against Marchand, he prevents a goal. Yet, he tries to defend with his stick and gets schooled. You'd think he would of learned by watching tape, because on Tuesday night, if he went for Frattin's body, and in this case, even commits a penalty, we're going to a shootout, yet, he tried to defend it by poking the puck away from Frattin, who ended up flying past him.
  15. It's late, so im not going to go through the previous 19 pages as i normally do after games when i post my thoughts. So if this was said before, then i apologize. I've been very down on this team all season. Even after the win in Toronto i thought there was something wrong with them. And tonight is only 1 game, and just 2 points in the standings. The win against Boston isn't what shocks me most. In this league, any team can win any given night. Edmonton just took San Jose to the shootout for example. But what impressed me most is this: Sabres down 3-1. How many times have we seen them just lay down and quit? Have zero fight to come back? These guys didn't quit at all, on the road, against a rival, and against a team that in recent memory has pushed us around. Such an easy way to quit. Major props to the Sabres. Second thing, going into the third period, tied 3-3. Boston is well known for settling in, wearing down teams and going for the knock-out in the 3rd period of games. On MSG i think they said prior to tonights game they have outscored opponents in the 3rd 8-0. Boston scored first, early in the 3rd. It was a 3rd period as they would have designed it. Play hard, and wear us down until they catch us out of gas and pour it on. Sabres again didn't quit. And despite Boston playing their style and protecting their own end, the Sabres scored 4 goals. True... that the last 2 were because they were rushing all in to tie it and Pommers empty netter, but still, 4 goals in the 3rd. Very impressive for the boys. I won't lie, i thought they could of won this game, as i think any team, even bad ones, can win any night if things go well, but the way this game went on, i didn't think the Sabres had it in them to pull it off. They proved me wrong not only once, but twice.
  16. This one i thought is hilarious... http://youtu.be/9H0xPWAtaa8
  17. And Hodgson has a three game goal-less streak heading into Boston.... he really is becoming this years version of Luke Adam.
  18. Was always a fan of Jason Holland, and if any of you guys (mainly younger posters) have a chance to visit Holland on a little vacation, i fully recommend it.
  19. Bruins will play it as if it's another night.. "just one game". Sabres will play it as if it's the playoffs, and our season on the line. Something to prove. We'll get close to winning but eventually lose, and everyone will wonder where has this team and effort been all season.
  20. We did have three consecutive AHL rookies of the year, none of which have translated well at the next level. Ennis of course being the only one to have shown flashes.
  21. You sure? Kevin Oklobzija makes it sound like he never even showed up on twitter. And he's at the practice...
  22. Weber's issue has never been the inability to be able to stick up for teammates or having the back of his teammates. Always been there for his teammates. The reason why he is in the press box so often is his inability to do what he is paid to do: Play defense. He's a pylon half the games he's out there. Will admit, he had a strong game last night on defense.
  23. Kaleta's replacement speculation - ‏ En route to Boston?
