Per TSN.
Regehr asked to waive his no trade clause to the LA Kings, which he will accept. No details on return.
----UPDATE---
Two second round picks in return. Solid return by Darcy IMO.
Regehr on verge of being dealt?

Matheson seems pretty certain it will happen.
I heard 27 people are going to die in tonights episode.
As for rooting for the Sabres to lose.... don't need to for the next two days. This group of losers has no chance of beating Boston or Pittsburgh. I wouldn't be surprised if one of these teams absolutely blows up on them and wins by like 5.
You're making it sound like Leopold wasn't having a down year himself? C'mon, these boards wanted Leopold benched after two weeks. He's been brutal all season for us. Remember this?

Douglas Murray is a much better player then Leopold. Don't fool yourself. Murray is very tough to play against, Murray hits and wins pucks in the corners, and Murray blocks shots with the best of them.
With demand high for rental defensman as is in the NHL, gotta think the Sabres pulling the trigger on Leopold days before the deadline means they have bigger deals to be had. Hopefully this is only a start.
Tough luck by Niagara. I really think they could of advanced as they could of gotten behind a hot goalie as RIT did few seasons ago when DeMicheal became a wall. But North Dakota was a very tough draw, possibly the best team in college hockey.
I personally thought Wisconsin was going to take this tournament with ease. Pretty shocked they have lost and lost big one day one.
Pure speculation on my part, but... Miller to Tampa for package of Connolly/1st, then Pominville to LAK (since they lost out on Iginla) for a Bernier package?
Jerome Iginla on the verge of being traded.... will be a scratch tonight vs. Colorado.
Bruins prospect Alex Khokhlachev is also a healthy scratch for Providence... hmm
