I'm a big believer in NBC sports and what they have done for hockey, and hope the NHL doesnt return to ESPN anytime soon, but i do hope NBC fixes some of their flaws as well. I feel like NBC hasn't done anything to change anything about their coverage in like 3 years.

I don't want to get carried away, but for the first time in a long time we're seeing some good depth in the organization. Last several years, it was pretty clear cut who the first call up would be, and soon after it was like it didn't even matter because they were bottom of the barrel type players that can fill in the 4th line and we just moved a player from the 4th line up. It'll be interesting to see which one would be the first callup this season, assuming they don't make it from the get-go- Cole Schnieder, Baptiste, Bailey, Fasching, Rodrigues and now you can add Grant to that list as well. And that's not even mentioning Nylander, who i think its obvious he'll need some more work in Rochester then most want to believe.

I'll be there. Looking forward to it. Ullmark in nets. Hopefully Nylander can put on a show.

I feel like we would get along real great, because everything you're saying about fantasy stats i agree with. I don't like GWG. Theres always sort of luck involved with any fantasy sports but GWG is a pure luck stat. Its sucks when you are in a 15-13 or so battle in goals and assists and sweating it out but then someone gets a easy 2-0 GWG win. 4

If Lehner gets injured, i think it's fair to assume that Linus Ullmark would have a fair chance to be the teams #1 goaltender. Maybe he'll be our Matt Murray? Or, maybe they go the route Martin Biron suggested on WGR, and try to trade for someone, such as Ben Bishop?

Will be really interesting to see how this kid plays. There's a ton of hype over him. Reminds me of the whole Justin Schultz sweepstakes. When Edmonton won the rights to sign him, they thought they hit the jackpot but then it turned out the kid could barely play any defense.
