  1. Cmon guys. It'll be a fun season. :)
  2. Just a friendly reminder, theres live hockey on tonight. 2:30am on the NHL Network. Boston v. Calgary.
  3. incredible and explains a lot. I hope Lehner conquers it. What an incredible story to read. The article also shows what a classy and great person Jason Botterill is.
  4. Yeah think you're right based on Yost's tweet announcing it.
  5. Can't wait to see Risto vs. Kadri this season. ?
  6. Heard today that Brayton Wilson will be the new Amerks radio pre, intermission and post-game host this upcoming season.
  7. That is awesome! wow. Vogl is a favorite of mine but having the Athletic and TBH has been outstanding. I love the coverage both provide and adding Yost is pure genius for TBN.
  8. haha hell of a way to end the summer and begin training camp...
  9. Same. I even thought he was solid on Saturday night when we lost 3-1. Very smooth skater and does a good job moving the puck quickly out of our own end. What a wildcard Nylander can become for this team. A guy most have written off and were willing to toss in as a package to St Louis for a greater return. Chris Taylor pretty much said theres no way he could start in Buffalo but due to all his work, he could be a early call-up if he preforms.
  10. I havn't watched any replays but from my angle (and a few beers in) i thought Nylander missed the net.
  11. Fun night because the arena was buzzing. It's just too bad the Sabres werent able to preform like they did on Friday. One play that stood out to me is in the final minutes, Alex Nylander steals the puck from a Bruins player trying to skate out, turns and fires the shot just wide. Wouldn't been without question the best thing he's done since being drafted by the Sabres. He's impressed me a lot these last two days. While the Sabres were disappointing, i should point out that the Bruins goalie Dan Vladar was outstanding. Despite the score, i felt like the Sabres had outplayed Boston for majority of the night. I've said it multiple times since development camp, but i love Pekar's game. The kid has all the "compete" in the world and literally mixes it up every shift he's on. He has skill too. He made a few poor turnovers, including two on one play, he will need to polish that off when he goes to the OHL, but this guy has very promising potential imo.
  12. I'm in. Thanks! Are we going to start a "club" for this league too. lol
  13. I don't use this but i've heard that DTV Now only gives you MSG but not the regional MSG, so you'll get the MSG with all NYC content on it. It's what i heard from a friend who did this. Apparently most of the online streaming services who offer MSG only offer the NYC version and not the regional, except for Fubo tv.
  14. This is what i use. I've never had any issues with it and i love it. It's on the cheap side and i get every channel i want except NHL Network.
  15. I've been going to the games in Rochester last few years. Some solid hockey for really cheap. But if RIT didn't make it, the crowds were literally in the 100s. Buffalo is also hosting the next frozen four.
  16. I thought he was excellent tonight. I knew he put in hard work this summer because of photos i've seen of him on IG and also seeing reports throughout the summer about Nylander staying local and working out, without knowing much i knew he put lots of work in this summer. But, to see it on the ice too is pretty cool. He would be such a wildcard for this team if hes able to develop into a contributor. Chris Taylor was interviewed by Matt Bove and also was on the Instigators, and in both places has praised Nylander. Said not only did he put in lots of work this summer but his confidence is as high as it's ever been and has matured so much as a player. Mentions hes talking more, being more of a leader and even in shooting drills, before he would stay in the back and shoot 4-5th in line and now jumps ahead of everyone and goes first or second. NJ streamed the game with the same restrictions as the Sabres. Brian Duff mentioned it late in the broadcast.
  17. I noticed a lot of people are disappointed to see Cliff Pu traded. But Jeff Skinner has scored over 200 goals in the NHL. I loved Pu's potential and think Carolina eventually will see a good return on this trade, but this was a no brainer for the Sabres imo. Sabres have to start getting closer to winning and changing that culture in that locker room with all those talented kids there, and i think it's easier to trade guys like Pu since the Sabres 4 first round picks in the next two years and also are covering the college UFA map pretty well, signing guys like CJ Smith and Andrew Oglevie, both of whom the Sabres seem high on.
  18. I actually like both of the players. However, have these guys spoken yet like Hutton or Thompson did? There was some rumors last season that Sobotka was thinking of returning to the KHL. Until he says he's committed to the Sabres, i'm not 100% sure we will ever see him here.
  19. @SDS the upgrade looks great and I really like how it comes up on the iPhone. Very clean and easy to use. Thank you for everything you do for us on this forum. Your hard work is appreciated!
  20. It's almost certainly the third team is the NYR.
  21. Friedman is the go-to with McKenzie and Dreger, so i think theres been some kind of hold up here and maybe not as advanced as the TSN reporter previously thought, but, with all the rumors the past few days and now this, i think it's a matter of crossing the T's and dotting the I's at this point. If we don't hear anything else about this tonight, i'm sure it'll drop at some point tomorrow. Or maybe this will be like the Mike Hoffman trade and be completed at like 7am. Dorian might just be a night owl.
  22. How did i not know this? haha What a small world. Thats awesome!
  23. Im from Poland. Very disappointing tournament for us. Atleast your have a nice jersey ? How did you end up choosing to root for Poland? Just curious.
  24. There's actually quite a few high potential players. Pulisic isn't the only one. Weston McKennie on Schalke04 gets regular playing time. Josh Sargent signed this past winter with Werder Bremen and should get quality time this season. He was a star at the U20 World Cup at age 17. Cameron Carter-Victers is probably a year away, but still Tottenham is super high on him. Tim Weah just debuted for PSG this past season and made his USMNT debut. He looks to be the real deal. And if you're looking for potential future stars who currently play domestically, keep an eye out for Tyler Adams and Andrew Carleton. Essp Carleton. He has Pulisic type skills. As for Canada, their Pulisic is Alphonso Davies. Plays in Vancouver and will be in Europe soon.
