  1. Who has us linked with Korpisalo?
  2. Not for nothing but i think they've got bigger issues then Stillman for Bloom. lol Unless Canucks win the lottery they might not be good til after Bloom retires from pro hockey. 😆
  3. I think Stillman is the better player just based on basic stats. He's a year younger then Fitzgerald and has played 140 NHL games. Fitzgerald 59 career games including 0 for his new team. In a few years this might be looked as it was free too. Sabres have a large amount of prospects, something gotta give. They have several incoming to Rochester for next season and there just isn't the space.
  4. The way he plays he reminds me of a (smaller) Brad Brown. Brown came in a trade in 2004, was also underwhelming but his play made him sort of a cult hero for his few games that he was here for. Stillman is younger and maybe better defensively i don't know, but he'll hit anybody. I won't pretend to know too much about Stillman, just saw him on espn+ when i watch the late games, not sure what it translates to, but if he was on the ice when Quinn got mugged yesterday, Stillman wouldv'e not let that fight happen. Tough kid, seems like a teammates bestfriend type of player.
  5. He's Cory Stillman's son... who played with Kevyn on that Carolina team.
  6. No, Jeremy never mentioned Quinn.
  7. yeah, let's wait and see how he feels tomorrow morning when he wakes up before we even think about the thought of sending upl down. lol
  8. The way Anderson talked after the game i doubt it. He kept mentioning how all 3 will need to play roles in this run, how they all will have to work off each other, help each other and get better because of each other. Adams always talks about how he includes the vets and team leaders into discussion making, and also drove to Comrie's house and spend time with him when they told him he was going to go to Rochester on assignment, i highly doubt Anderson doesn't know the plan.
  9. Not sure why they would, he is still under contract next season.
  10. they've found another shot. He now has 53 saves on 54 shots. lol
  11. Say what? You'd risk disrubting that team by making a bombshell move of trading Olofsson and Jokiharju ? There's no chance Adams is doing that. Thats something for the summer.
  12. I don't think the Sabres should make any big moves and i doubt they are anyways, the goaltending just isn't good enough and the team is too inconsistent. But they should get a dmen to improve on Bryson. He's become a liability. He was awful against Toronto, awful against Tampa. I think Clauge is better and i know he's coming off a little injury, but they should get someone better then him too. We can't improve on the goalies, we gotta live n die with what we have, but we can add some reinforcement on defense.
  13. lol yes. If they win tomorrow, i think they'll be entering Sunday's game with as much buzz as they've had since the last time they made the playoffs. And they're wearing the black jerseys. The arena would be wild Sunday if they win tomorrow. And this town would be buzzzin Friday night and Saturday. This race would seem a bit more real if they can win tomorrow.
  14. What a difference does one game do to the mood on this board! That was fun. But Sabres need to figure out their goaltending or else we'll be saying "what if" in mid-April. Super fun game.
  15. NYR about to get Patty Kane?
  16. For the last # of years if the word “playoffs” even gets brought up on wgr, twitter or even here, quickly people would be like “playoffs?! I would skate through a brick wall for just meaningful games feb and March!” Sabres finally got us to this point and get overwhelmed against one of the best teams in the league, in a highly anticipated game at home with like 60% of the arena filled by Leafs fans. And people are losing their minds. Sabres are a young and immature team that’s exceeding expectations this season.
  17. Vladislav Gavrikov ^^
  18. lol some of you guys really react poorly to losses. They won't be picking top 10, relax.
  19. On the night he becomes the longest tenured Sabres coach since Lindy Ruff you're wondering if he's the right man for the job? What do you suggest? Donny has the team as one of the top scoring teams in the league, on pace for 92 points, currently at 58, in a season they were projected i think at 78 points or somewhere in that range. All while rotating 3 goalies, two AHLers and a 41 year old who can only play once a week because his body doesn't allow him to play more. Cmon.
  20. And the worst rebound control i think i've ever seen.
  21. He did play well that game , i give you that. You can't tell me you're comfortable with him going forward though? (not saying in the future, but this season)
  22. What a joke. And they havent even had a chance in any of their last 3 home games.
  23. Maybe he's hurt? Something minor and Coyotes are like scratching him for an injury would be a bad look. I agree with you. Not sure what NHL can do, but it's ridiculous. Teams fighting for positioning in the west are able to face a Coyotes team without one of their stars. For a game or two, when a deal is close, sure, but the way it's been its a joke. He's gonna be rusty wherever he goes.
