Half the point I created the thread was to allow openness in using racial slurs. It's about context. I don't think people are going to come into this thread and direct a racial slur at somebody. Context................ There's a difference between calling somebody a k*i*k*e, and using the term in a story.

I don't think it's fair to lump them all into one group.Try being a cop, much less a union member.

True, Halak never wanted to be in BFLO no matter what. I'm still trying to grasp that the future of the season might be relying on Nilsson. Watching Halak and Bjork do what they do aggravates me.

I apologize if I haven't kept up on the updates for both leagues. I initially said I wasn't completely interested in playing again, but I will if nobody can take my spot. I'll still play but I'll give up my spot if somebody else wants in or if you want to decrease the size of the league. As a GM of other fantasy leagues, I know that doesn't help. Sorry.

For me, I think the faucet can be turned back on again. But in the meantime, I've given up giving them the benefit of the doubt. Some might call that a fair weather fan, but 17 years is about as much as I'm willing to spend caring. And I share the views of many others, the sport hasn't helped maintain my fandom.
