  1. Pretty sure it wouldn't work with a small Weber. Scratch that idea. So I've heard. How big of a fryer did you use? Every time I cook something, I try something different the next time, every time to try to improve it. Whether it's burgers, steaks (my 50oz ribeyes are to die for), pork tenderloin....... Turkey. Frying isn't in this year, I'm just trying to figure out my next plan of attack this year.
  2. I understand the injuries, but there is no urgency in this team. That 3rd period was horrible. It looked like they were defending a one goal lead rather than trying to come back from two goals down.
  3. There are way too many Constitutionalists, and small government Republicans in Congress to ever let that happen. The mere mention of the possibility of this country turning into an Authoritarian government is ridiculous.
  4. But it is. The liberal media has everybody in a panic. It's what they do when things don't go their way. And it's obviously working. I'm not crazy about his appointees either.
  5. Because politicians never lie. I'm not taking Trump's side on anything, but you all are treating this like it's something new. I'm glad Healthcare costs went down and I kept my doctor.
  6. Do Claude and Brawndo do the Weber thing the same way?
  7. I'm really picky when it comes to food, and we' only have 3-4 people. So there won't be too many sides, and I'll just stick to turkey, mashed potatoes, and corn. But lots of it! Lima jello and key lime pie (my specialty) for dessert. Care to share how you do the turkey?
  8. I dreamed Hillary wasn't President, by golly he's right. :)
  9. No.
  10. I'll wait to see the details on it. I think anybody entering the country as a non-citizen should be questioned and registered. Even the most open countries in the world have strict guidelines for non-citizens, and even new citizens for a period of time.
  11. I'm not, I'll worry about it when it happens because at this point there is nothing we can do.
  12. What?
  13. I'll save my sanity for the WHEN's and not the IF's. If I were a non-citizen entering another country to live, I would understand. It's not about doubting anybody. It's the lunacy, 'doom and gloom' about things that haven't even happened yet and most likely won't. Funny how some think it's a perfectly normal reaction while the same people mocked the right for doing the same thing when Obama got elected.
  14. Oh geez..................... The levels of lunacy are reaching levels in here I never thought I would see.
  15. I don't think you're going to see the cooperation in congress that some think they will. The GOP is a divisive group and many aren't in line with Trump's views. While they might work together to a point, whatever you see in four years is going to be a watered down version of what they all want. What some might think will be radical changes, will be mild at best. There are many Republicans in congress who are against the establishment, and are steadfast in their beliefs. While some see a majority in all three branches, really isn't a majority because of multiple factions within the Republican party. Everybody jumping the gun with doom and gloom scenarios based on what they saw during the campaign (regardless of the new appointees) are no better than the right's doom and gloom scenarios when Obama took office. Trump is already backing off on many of his campaign promises. We're all going to wake up tomorrow and life will be no different. We'll all wake up on January 21st and life will be no different. Overreacting to the situation will just make things worse.
  16. Good points. I'm talking 30 and over. I looked through the rosters of the first half of the teams listed on ESPN. Every team has 5-7 players 30 and older. Buffalo has three. The only team with less is Columbus with two. Usually, the most successful teams have an even spread of ages. Right now, Buffalo leans heavily to the young side.
  17. That's not enough. It might be if the team wasn't so young.
  18. I don't see this country as being any more fractured than it was before Trump got elected. Ignore the doom and gloom, and you'll notice that life isn't any different than it was. Turn off the news, stay away from Facebook, and you'll be amazed how little anything has changed. Give it a couple of years, you'll be amazed at how little things will change. The media is stirring this pot and people are falling for it. Shut it off and enjoy life. The best thing I did was shut it all off the last year leading up to the election. I can't believe people are letting this affect their lives, you're eating right out of their hand.
  19. If the team gave up and started hanging their heads after Okposo got stopped, then this team is really weak. This is where the veterans and the coaches step up and keep their heads in the game. Another case against Bylsma. This is what bothers me about Murray not going after a couple of older veterans. This team is way too damn young to work themselves out of a funk.
  20. Maybe. But that's besides the point. This goes back to K-9's post about unifying a fractured country. What is Trump supposed to do at this point? Somehow I doubt the protesters are right wingers. And why shouldn't Obama be involved in the process?
  21. Well, the left never really does. But aren't the majority of these protesters left wingers? If they were right wingers, shouldn't we expect the right to do something about it? ;)
  22. I don't care if you're missing Eichel, Bogo and Kuli........... these performances the last few games are inexcusable. Embarrassing, pathetic, putrid. I didn't think they'd make the playoffs this year, but I never saw this coming. The Sabres are officially scoring less than the two big tank years in which they were the lowest scoring team in the NHL in 78 years.
  23. Or left. B-)
  24. Besides saying 'stop', did I miss anything?
  25. Goober was at a loss for words last post game presser. Can't wait to hear him tonight.
