Well, keep in mind the last game the Sabres played they scored a bunch of goals. The last time the offense looked that good (when Eichel came back) Goober specifically said that's not the kind of game they want to play. So nobody should expect what happened last game to happen again, Goober was preaching conservative hockey before the game. This is Goober hockey. The team really gets out of hand when they actually try to score goals.

On October 29 & 30 the Sabres beat Winnipeg and Florida. It's the only time all year they've beaten a team currently not in a playoff spot. With that said, they've only played 8 games against teams currently in a playoff spot.

If you want to learn how to handle a car, learn how to drive in the snow with the worst car possible. For me it was a 91 Mustang with a 5 speed and highway tread. That'll sharpen your skills haha.

I've got no problem with an affordable above average duo in net. I've said before, I think goaltenders have gotten to the point where the range between the best and the worst has shrunk and that (with one or two exceptions) it's just not worth handing out massive contracts to a goalie that isn't necessarily a frequent game-changer. Take the extra $$ and spend it improving the defense in front of him. Lerner has looked a lite soft lately, I think he is better than that. We have a very capable duo that I'm not too concerned about.

That's great you finally got down to where (I assume) you were aiming for. I give people a ton of credit who have the determination to eat the appropriate diet to get to a reasonable weight. I just enjoy food way too much to do that. I guess that's half the reason I spend so much time in the gym, I feel guilty if I take more than one day off in between. Maintaining weight through a proper diet, I give you props.

Dale Tallon back on board as GM of the Panthers. Apparently there will be some personnel changes after the holiday freeze. Maybe Vinny realized how bad he ###### up and now he needs Tallon to correct the mistakes. That game last night was painful to watch. 4 new defensemen this year and none of them have any clue what they coach wants out of them. Every goal scored on Lou were odd-man rushes. I have no idea how you guys can fluctuate so much. I go to the gym 4 days a week @ 2-2.5 hours a pop. Couple of 5k's a week, couple of 10k's a month. I don't gorge myself on food, but if I make a big dinner, I make sure it gets eaten. If I make specialties like a grilled ribeye, wings, pan fried skrod, pork tenderloin...... I don't hold back. I was recently on the road for a month. Didn't hit the gym once (ran a few times), I only had a full kitchen at my disposal for about a week, and even then it wasn't stocked so I could make any large dinners. So basically my caloric intake was down for a month. When I left I weighed 203. The day I got back, I was 203.
