Apparently he's going to have Doug Cifu take over his duties. Not sure if Cifu taking over is any better, he has just about as much hockey experience as Vinny. If Cifu has to be in Florida while Vinny is in DC, they may have to surgically remove Cifu from Vinny's balls.

Sure PHam, let the refs control the flow of the game by calling penalties. Pssstttt.... it's not up to them to make a game exciting. It's not their responsibility to look at the 275 fans sleeping in the stands and say, we need to wake this place up. So in the 3rd they decide to start calling penalties and then you bitch because the refs make a call on the Sabres (one they wouldn't have called in the first two periods) in which Carolina scores and the game never makes it to OT. PHam, ever think maybe the refs put the whistle away to let them get a little physical and try to find some energy on their own? I hate it when Koziol and PHam address situations in which they'll cry about the result no matter what happens.

Yeah Koziol, the game is boring because the refs aren't calling enough penalties. If they call too many, you bitch. If they don't call enough, you bitch. How about looking at the man behind the bench coaching this mess of a system.

No need to fret over Kuli. He brings a lot more than he's been showing. I think he's still hurt some, Gorges has been bringing him down (three times tonight I saw Kuli have to turn around and go back for a pass from Gorges that was way behind him) and he is notorious for slow starts. He finishes strong. He'll come around. Kuli will be fine.
