I don't think so, because I believe Babdick is coaching so that the way they play now, is the way they play in the future. Only recognizing the mistakes and correcting them. If Goober is playing like this assuming this was a playoff year, he's going about it the wrong way because he certainly isn't using their talents to their advantage.

PHam is such a condescending .

While not trying to derail the topic, I have to give Babdick credit where credit is due. His defense might be a mess right now, but he is coaching a completely different game than Goober is. He's letting these guys go out and do what they do best, make the mistakes let them screw up and then use practices to discuss what they're doing wrong. It has lead to an exciting season for them, and entertaining hockey. Despite numerous blowouts and tons of blown leads. They've also blown out teams and scored bunches of goals. I'm sure he was under the impression that this wasn't going to be a playoff year and planned to do this. They'll be better in the long run because of it. Goober, on the other hand, isn't letting the Sabres do anything they're good at. He's afraid to make mistakes, and he coaches accordingly. The young guys will never learn, and we'll never see their potential as long as he is here. With that said, I'll stick by my post I made earlier about Murray. He's put together a team that's much better than we think. He deserves at least another year. Unless Goober is still here next year, then he needs to be fired.

It's a damn shame he couldn't show some when the season was on the line, and he hadn't already laid the foundation for his trip out of Buffalo. -

I'm a tad behind, could that 3rd period have been any more predictable? -
Play by play guys are cookie cutter nowadays. You're not going to find a hidden gem. They all say the same thing, use the same buzz words and catch phrases........... The only difference is their voice and how they interact with their other commentators. That is what needs work because BFLO might be the only team where the on-ice guy is also the color commentator. (I only say that because I don't know of any other, and I haven't paid much attention)

On roads like A1A, there are always people walking. But that road has a dedicated bike lane and the speed limit is usually 30 MPH. Everything down here is either N-S or E-W and almost all residential is off the main drags. So all the major roads have wide sidewalks and no driveways. Riders and walkers rarely have issues. But, I have a mountain bike, I can see sidewalks being an issue with road bikers.
-
I can tell from your pictures that you generally take the scenic routes. Point taken on hugging the curb. I've seen people biking down 50 MPH six lane divided main road down here, with no bike lane, thinking to myself they must have a death wish. All with perfectly good, wide sidewalks on either side. I know road bikers aren't keen on sidewalks, but no way in hell I ride on those roads no matter what I'm riding. I either use the sidewalk, or find an alternate route.

Laws or no laws, it's inconsiderate to hog a road made for automobiles, not to mention unsafe. 20-30 MPH side streets, that's fine. But 45-55 MPH main roads should be off limits unless it has its own separate bike lane. Can you share the road and hog it all up in some states? Sure. Does that mean you should? Probably not. I feel bad enough when I'm on a 40 MPH road, by myself, hugging the curb on a road specifically labeled as a bike sharing lane.
-
Sure, there's that too.

So, you all gonna plan a Florida trip next year? -
I highly doubt he faces 10 more shots because of his rebounds, in fact it's been mentioned he kicks out rebounds in attempts to get the puck out of the zone. Or at least out of the crease. He averages 33.7 shots per 60 minutes compared to Nilsson's 34.2.

Risto's been taking notes from Barkov. https://twitter.com/Ginohard_/status/843131674476986368

I'm a jogger and a cyclist. Roads are for cars. If there is a separate lane for bikers, that's a whole different story. If there's more than enough room for everybody, great. But runners and cyclists should never run/ride 2,3,4 wide taking up three quarters of the lane. But, that's just my opinion. ;)

Me two. I can see if they're homers and only pick their own players, that's one thing. But, if they're going to throw a Sabre in there................... Eichel over Nilsson? Man, the guy comes off the bench and plays a game like that, give him some credit where credit is due!
-
Eichel got a star. He was good, but he wasn't Nilsson good.
-
Nilsson didn't even get a star, much less 1st star? He was undoubtedly the best player on the ice.
-
Sabres scored more SO goals tonight than they have all season. Way to go PHam with the genius stat. Of course they did, they had just about as many attempts in one game as they've had all season. I'm pretty sure they only had 11 attempts coming in.
-
I like Nilsson's game, he's very calm and fluid. I'd love to see him come back next year.
-
At home games, when are Sabres fans going to chant 'perilous' during the national anthem?
-
I get it, it's petty. It had absolutely no negative bearing on this team whatsoever.
