Stafford/Sekera is as far as I would go. If they are that desperate in getting rid of Ryan, DR should be lowballing them instead of the other way around. Losing Stafford/Sekera pretty much equals the offensive output you'll get in return with Ryan. Maybe a couple of goals more. But then we also lose a D-man and like has been mentioned we may be losing some in the near future. Including Adam AND a 1st is just insane.

Unless they are in fact considering your Miller/Hiller scenario in their trade and they are still concerned for some reason about his vertigo.

Doan is not worth $30mil/4 years. Veteran leadership can be had for much less.

Not exactly sure what he did in the KHL last year. But I thought he was a huge loss when the Panthers didn't re-sign him a couple of years ago. It's not so much that he can or cannot fight, but he will do what Gaustad didn't have the balls to do last year. Great sign IMO.
