You're right, this is hilarious:
-
Me too! A top 3 pick never guarantees success, or a game changing player. Seems like an awful big risk to purposely lose games when it might be for naught. Strike two?
-
Every forward on this team needs to be 6'4" 230#, how else could this board bitch about the team being too slow? After all, 6'4" 230# forwards who score 40 goals, exactly one goal every other game, hit and fight are a dime a dozen. Doug Flutie was the best QB the Bills have had in the last 15 years, but it doesn't matter because he was too small to play in the NFL.
-
You've obviously missed the point.
-
Absolutely. Laviolette used to be more like Tortorella, he's toned it down some and I think it's made him a better coach.
-
I like the raw emotion too. I think more coaches need to be like that. But with Tort, he cries like this after every loss, it loses it's effectiveness when you don't know when to use it at the right time (or how often to use it in this case).
-
Robidas got crushed!
-
But he's not comparing two players, he's comparing one. I'm going to take your word for it haha.
-
I agree. But in his defense, I did find it pretty pathetic that they got booed because of a power play when they were actually leading. Usually (and rightfully so, lately) they get booed when they're losing and look uninspired.
-
Bill Hoppe @BillHoppeNHL #Sabres Steve Ott on win: "Only thing u could ask for maybe is 2get a little bit of fans support when you’re winning 2-1+ they’re booing u."
-
I don't think anybody has ignored those sixteen or so games. What I do think is many seem to ignore that half the team was hurt, and the ones who were healthy were running for the bus before the game even started (during that stretch). Those sixteen games wouldn't have been much different with Miller in net.
-
Can't believe I was the first one to post that. ;)
-
In like Flynn?
-
Was that idiot really complaining about who Rolston put on the ice with an empty net? Wow.................
-
Start Enroth against the Sens!

Yeah man, he's a big dude! I don't think the fans in SoFL know enough about hockey to realize what they have in store for them from here on out. It's gonna be a bad year this year, but the future is bright. I think Markstrom is up for good too. Only thing that hurts them is I think Tallon planned to use Theodore and Weiss as trade bait. They might be forced to re-sign Weiss now.
-
I'd take him. He's good on the PP and can put up the numbers if he's given decent linemates. Although, moving forward I think Tallon wants to keep him as part of their core so it would really surprise me to see him traded.
-
Hell yeah! It's nothing short of incredible what Tallon has done since he got here. 2010 and 2011 drafts he had 8 picks in the first two rounds. Two years ago there were 17 different names on the opening day roster from the year before. This year is when their '10 and '11 picks are working their way into the lineup. It was completely expected that this year would be worse than last year, but they're only going to get better now. As bad as their record is right now, it's because they have a roster full of guys that haven't played together very long and a ton of players with very little experience. I tell ya what, I'd give up any Sabre besides Vanek for Huberdeau. It's really interesting watching Tallon vs Darcy with two completely different philosophies.

Panthers. They have a very bright future and a GM that knows what the hell he's doing.
-
Grrrrrrr, if I only knew they were going to be at Palm Beach! :wallbash:
-
Let it go already....................
-
That got unpinned fast. :o
-
Remember the good ole days when the 'core' was still here? Man those teams with Connolly, Gaustad and Roy were good.
-
Hecked now tied with Stafford in goals. Atta boy Drew.
