  1. I can hear my rotator cuffs screaming just looking at that! :o
  2. Me too, I forget what it's like to be in the playoffs.
  3. 2010 hockey can still win games.
  4. Goober's teams never had a 13-1 scoring chance advantage in one period.
  5. Man, some of you guys are nuts about Ovechkin. I wouldn't take that loser if the Caps offered him straight up and retained half his salary. I'm not exaggerating.
  6. Yes they have. As one who hates sports cliches, the Pens "weathered the storm" in the 1st and it's paying off. They're definitely playing much better than last game. Caps were all over them in the 1st, but they're lost their edge.
  7. Caps dominated the first, it leveled off a bit towards the end. SOG were similar, but the Caps had a ton more shots attempted.
  8. Pens are lucky this game isn't 4-1 right now.
  9. I think he's better than Fedun.
  10. Seen here is the Penguins next in line for defensive fill-ins.......... https://twitter.com/CraigCustance/status/862284600147619840/photo/1
  11. Look at that impeccable timing. I guess Sullivan is preparing for the eventual meltdown everybody expects out of Flower. https://www.thescore.com/nhl/news/1298319-murray-to-back-up-fleury-in-game-7
  12. Until the Sabres have eight defensemen better than him, you don't get rid of what you have. As of right now they don't even have five D-men who are better. He's not as good as we'd like, but he's better than most give him credit for. The D core is depleted as it is, don't make things more difficult than they have to be.
  13. He doesn't need to have a great partner and a great team to be a Norris contender. Norris contenders MAKE their partner and team great. That's why they're Norris contenders.
  14. I agree with you, he's certainly not the reason they're losing. (Their defense makes the Sabres look like Nashville). That's just a steep cap hit, in my opinion. I'm not so sure Hank's constant WTF waves and pouting isn't detrimental to the team either. I don't think he's finished, I just think it's time to move on. He might be best suited for a team on their last legs of being a Cup contender. I don't have anything in mind, it's just a thought.
  15. Dump Nash, Hank and Staal. That's $22mil being wrapped up in places that are easily replaceable. Raanta was the better goaltender this year.
  16. According to Bill Daly, Crosby wasn't pulled from the game by spotters because he hit the boards and not the ice. Apparently hitting the boards isn't considered a predictor of concussions. https://www.thescore.com/nhl/news/1297655-crosby-s-collision-didn-t-warrant-mandatory-removal-because-he-hit-boards-nhl-says Crosby said he was checked out, coach says he wasn't. http://deadspin.com/im-not-sure-sidney-crosbys-brain-is-ok-1795048580
  17. Does this mean y'all aren't coming down to Florida?
  18. You can just tell when he's rattled and it doesn't take much. He gets very erratic and unsure of himself. He was very average last game too. Not to say his teammates aren't to blame either, they're leaving him hanging.
  19. Nice to see Flower is back to his old self.
  20. Nobody even says a word about Crosby punching Orlov in the face and completely getting away with it. And people wonder why some aren't surprised when so many cheap shots are thrown his way. Karma's a bitch.
  21. I have to agree about Karlsson. He is a damn good forward.
  22. I don't have to like it and you can't make me. :D
  23. There's just something so gratifying seeing age, experience and size win out over youth and speed. Call me old school, but it's fun!
  24. Damn, almost getting up into the teens. That's summer weather for you, isn't it? :D
  25. That's absurd.
