I'm quite sure Ott is more upset about the fact that the home crowd isn't loud and supportive to give the team that extra push than getting his feelings hurt. I fully understand what you're getting at because I agree 100%, I could go on for hours about the pussification of society........ but I don't think that applies here.

I'm not sure who is blowing this out of proportion more, the media or the fans. The BFLO media seems to have a knack for riling up the troops over the last year or two. Their obsession for sensationalism over journailsm has only made things worse.

Fans say free agents don't want to come to BFLO because the Sabres aren't a powerhouse team. I wonder how many would take into consideration that the home fans boo the team in midst of a 10-5-5 run. Ott seems like the kind of guy that probably expects criticism when things aren't going right, but on the other hand expects some support when they do things right. I haven't been to the games but it seems to me if the fans aren't booing, they aren't doing anything. The BB&C Center is louder with Sabres fans cheering the team than the FNC.

They need to do it with Ott! Every team needs a couple of character players, Ott is one of the best at it. I think it's just as important as talent, if not more. Darcy needs to convince him that this rebuild won't take 3-4 years and that he will be the captain starting next year. I really should read the rest of the thread before posting. :rolleyes:

OMG! I want to thank you all for your help. My first batch is exactly what I've been looking for! Started with 1/2 cup of Frank's original and 1/3 butter. Ended up making it 1/2 cup of Frank's and 1/4 cup butter. 2:1. Got some small wings at Publix, only problem is I got two different packages, one I thought was flats, the other drums. Turns out the flats was the entire wing so I got twice as many drums. I'm telling you, I've searched all over down here and no where can you find a nice hot, TANGY style BFLO sauce. It's pretty much standard for you people in BFLO, not down here haha. I got 10 wings done at a time, 14 and they were extra crispy.
