  1. Sorry, I know this isn't about the Bills, but I just had to http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/story/_/id/10648890/new-york-jets-reach-deal-michael-vick
  2. I figured he was going to be Hasek-like when in the first period he did a complete split in order to cover both posts. Not many goaltenders can do that with ease like it looked like he did.
  3. Who isn't? I've been very impressed with Stafford ever since Nolan came on board. There is no reason they shouldn't keep him around next year, almost like he's stepped up as a leader since the trade deadline.
  4. No injuries and a win, that means Leino is a healthy scratch again next game.
  5. With so many top draft picks, how can Edmonton be this bad? At least the Sabres have an excuse.
  6. I've been impressed with Mitchell's game tonight.
  7. Is Stafford turning the corner, or is he setting up for another contract year performance?
  8. Doesn't a regulation loss here set the all time team record?
  9. Gazdic's played 62 games for Edmonton this year. I don't think he was called up just to fight somebody.
  10. I've watched them all, minus two.
  11. They were talking about potential castaways that some teams might have interest in signing during the offseason, on XM today. They got to Leino, they all started laughing and moved on to the next player.
  12. OK, OK, I should have said they are rare. People tend to think they are easy to come by. They are not. You just can't focus on all aspects of your game and expect to excel at any of them. Yup, that's the point I was getting at. I think later in Lindy's tenure with BFLO, and Rolston after that, they tried too hard to turn their players into something they weren't. It's one thing to work on different aspects of a player's game, it's another to force them to become a multi-dimensional player. I think this is where Nolan has been getting the most out of guys like Myers, Stafford an Ennis. He's letting them play their game.
  13. I agree. So many fans have this fascination about an all around hockey player that scores, hits, defends, is fast, plays goal...... all in one. These players don't exist. Every player has strengths and weaknesses, the key is putting together a team that compliments each person's strengths. Usually the better one player is at a certain aspect of the game, the worse they are in others. All I see when people talk about prolific scorers is 'he doesn't hit'. Well, guess what, he's not going to hit. And guess what, Jon Scott isn't going to score.
  14. Interesting stat, since the Miller trade BFLO goaltenders have a .936 save percentage.
  15. Thanks, that made my night!
  16. Howden and Pirri. I liked that Pirri trade. These two kids are going to be good!
  17. I'm watching this offensive powerhouse, the Panthers. Man two goals in a game, how exciting!
  18. Not tonight, he was tearing up Bilesma, the NHL and their reluctance to do anything to increase scoring. I liked it.
