Perhaps I missed it, but who is backing up Bjork?

Good to know the officials are now rescinding penalties they later deem incorrect. Keep that in mind....... http://ftw.usatoday.com/2015/02/sidney-crosby-was-sent-to-the-penalty-box-then-the-refs-changed-their-minds https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYCZGv_1xcE

Puck Daddy says GMTM's desire for Luke Richardson as coach
JJFIVEOH replied to SDS's topic in The Aud Club
It's all relative. The Sabres were the worst offensive team in 78 years last year. So 23G/27A over an 82 game pace is pretty damn good. -
Not a bad idea. I've been doing some research the last couple of weeks with double-edged safety razors. There is a huge selection online, but tough to find around town so it's difficult to compare. I'd be open to some recommendations. I need the whole setup, brush, soap/cream, blades, razor.......... would be willing to spend $100-120 for a modest setup to test rather I like it or not.

Puck Daddy says GMTM's desire for Luke Richardson as coach
JJFIVEOH replied to SDS's topic in The Aud Club
Except that he was #2 in points in 2012-13, and the team leader in points last year despite missing 10 games. -
Unfortunately, you're right. More often than not the league doesn't penalize on the act itself.

Not sure how I feel about getting 5+ games for that hit. It was an Ill-placed hip check. It wasn't a hit to the head and it wasn't intent to injure. Not sure that's worthy of 5+.

Nothing screams 'mature' more than editing somebody else's post and quoting it as if that was what they actually said. You've made multiple attempts to try and belittle me without adding anything substantial. Your baseless ad hominem posts with absolutely no rebuttal are childish. I can't fault you though, it's a common strategy for those who cannot offer a constructive reply even if it is contradictory. Don'y worry, you'll grow out of it eventually. For now it's the only way you people can fool yourself into thinking you've won an argument.

That's going to put a damper on their playoff hopes. Here's the puck to the head of Eaves. http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/gotta-see-it-eaves-left-dazed-after-taking-puck-to-head/

Seguin and Eaves leaving the game with injuries within one minute of each other. Kulikov went for a hip check and got Seguin on the knee on his planted leg, didn't look good. Then Eaves gets hit in the side of the head with a puck. He was on the ice for 5 minutes and had to be carried of by a couple of his teammates. He definitely looked concussed. http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/gotta-see-it-seguin-leaves-ice-after-low-bridge-hit/

Trades aren't made based on what prospects do in the future. Trades are made based on what they are projected to do in the future by those that scout them. Cody Hodgson was traded based on what was thought he could do in the future, he wasn't traded for what he is doing this season. And yes the number of bodies does make a difference. Take away Armia and Lemieux and see if that deal gets done. Murray brought Kane in with the anticipation of him being a top 3 forward. He doesn't make this trade if he thought Kane was going to be a top 6. Have a great evening. ;)

Hockey experts say he's a top 3 player. Some have gone so far as to say he could be 'elite'. Analytic nuts say he can be 'elite'. Regardless of their production, Murray gave up FOUR 1st rounders and a 2nd. When you only get half the possessions in return, that to me equates to what better be a top 3 forward. The return isn't based on how Lemieux and Armia do in the future, the return is based on what they are projected to do AS OF RIGHT NOW. That is their value. All I said is Kane better be a top 3 forward. Stop making this more difficult than it has to be by putting words in my mouth.

Not really. He's pretty quick and tough to get off the puck, I think he's listed around 5'10" 210#. He can be really good when he wants to. Dineen questioned his toughness a while back and really didn't want him around. Well, Bergenheim lasted ad Dineen didn't. Now him and his agent are pissed that he's been getting benched and Gallant has been publicly defending himself by saying Bergenheim will crack the lineup when he decides to play. His upside, he comes up big in the playoffs. You probably remember his name from the 2010-11 playoffs with Tampa, he finished tied for 4th in goals while playing 6-9 games less than everybody else near the top. He also led the Panthers with 6 points in the series against the Devils in 2012. He can probably be had for cheap, might be a good low risk pick-up for a team looking for some playoff spark. http://articles.sun-sentinel.com/2013-10-18/sports/fl-florida-panthers-news-1019-20131018_1_sean-bergenheim-kevin-dineen-scott-clemmensen

Bergenheim's days in FL are pretty much done. Look for a deal soon.

Again, how they 'turn out' is besides the point. All I said is he'd better be a top 3 forward and not a top 6 forward. You don't send over a 1st round pick, a 1st and 2nd round prospect, a former 1st round defenseman and a former 1st round forward and say it's OK if he turns out to be a top 6 forward if by some chance Lemieux and Armia don't pan out. He's not wrong in that this is a risky trade.
-
He can, but that wouldn't make him a top 6 or top 3 forward any more. Usually top 3 or top 6 means you're getting the most minutes, the most opportune scoring chances and the best linemates. I know you're contradicting me for the sake of contradicting me, but "top 3" and "top 6" has always been a broad term for a teams' best 3 and best 6 forwards.

Lighten up Francis, what makes you think your opinion is so much more damn important than mine? Jesus Christ I can't say anything around here without people getting their panties in a wad. I guess this place isn't about differing opinions any more.......... after all I must be the only one questioning this trade.
