Nolan sticking it to Murray. Murray wants Hackett to get starts, Nolan I'm sure thought Lindback should have started.

I think there could be something there. I liked his game on his first call-up. He deserves a look. -

I'd like to see Ennis and Varone play together for the rest of the year to see if something's there. -

I want to see the Sabres make the playoffs with Varone on the team just so I can see his beard. -

Of course it was, why would they keep shooting at him after he was hurt? -

Didn't Ochocinco make some kind of comment when he got traded that he didn't care if the Sabres were trying to lose, that he's here to win games? Suuurrrre, he's "injured". ;) -
On the contrary, I come here to bitch about the weather too........ not to brag. As much as some people might not want to believe it, going close to six months without ever dropping below 70°, and going most of the winter without being able to open the doors, does get really old after a while. While 89° on the first week of March might sound pleasant to many in here, to me it's a grim reminder that the next time I'll be able to open the doors without the AC going on will be in about eight and a half months from now. Since summer, I counted two days in which I needed to wear pants for warmth not just for fashion. And even then it was just for comfort, not necessity.

These posts have a certain theme to them that I just can't pinpoint............ And it seems like yesterday where this all seems so familiar.......... I can't quite put my finger on it............ OH! I know, it's taking every possible negative aspect and exaggerating them in an attempt to justify a trade. And it WAS yesterday. Last year Keiko was the best thing in BFLO since sliced bread, he was going to push this team into the playoffs, he was a fan favorite, he was the future of the franchise. Today he gets traded and now he's too small, he's weak, he can't last a season..... Don't let the door hit you in the ass. Not unlike the Chris Stewart thread. For the last couple of months he was the best player on the team, he was a "Murray" type of player, he could hit, he could fight, he would stand up for his team and put the puck in the net on the worst offensive team anybody on this forum has ever seen. Well, no need to be reminded on how that all changed the minute he was traded. That bus is getting extra mileage on it lately, must be the lower gas prices. I hope I don't make any enemies in here.

Interesting, I think this explains it all. http://www.si.com/nhl/2014/11/18/emergency-backup-goalies-hockeys-worst-case-roster-shortage
-
I always thought teams at least had an emergency goaltender lined up just in case. I was surprised to not see a backup on the bench when the 3rd started, before Montoya got hurt.
-
Lou got tagged with a shot in the collarbone area. He didn't come back to the bench. Montoya came in and looks like he hurt his glove arm on the Leaves goal in the 3rd. Montoya went to the locker room, after a few minutes Upshall and MacKenzie went to the locker room to suit up. Montoya finally made it back out until they could get Tallas suited up. Montoya must be injured more than Luongo because Luongo suited back up and has now replaced Montoya with Tallas backing up.
-
No, goaltenders.
-
Everybody's standing around in FL. Luongo left the game and now Montoya. They don't have an eligible goaltender in the building, Upshall just left the bench apparently going to suit up. The Leaves might finally win a road game.

I'm just happy Spiller's not coming back.

Hope he sticks around............

Foligno's pissed he didn't get traded.

grammar.
-
Lindback looks like a goaltender that's never been coached.
-
Anything for the team. :P

You got let off easy. I'm still sore from the beating I took when I mentioned supporting a FL team.
