Which series is everybody watching? I've pretty much given up on everything on TV besides sports and the occasional NatGeo or similar educational program. Right now I'm starting season 3 of House of Cards, just finished season 2 of Orange is the New Black and just started season 2 of Peaky Blinders. Any recommendations to fill the time?

Haha, I essentially just laughed my ass off at this....... practically speaking.

It takes a special person to become an athlete. If it were easy everybody would do it. Hockey has become an over-regulated, over-protected sport and it has led to a more dangerous sport. Not more physical, more dangerous. There are some things you just can't get rid of. It's a form of entertainment, one of which pays well for its best athletes..... even for the lesser ones to a point. What's next, do we take speed out of racing? Why should the NHL, or the PA become more responsible for transitioning players into civilian life? Hockey players now know what they're getting into, its not like this comes as a surprise. If I decide to leave my job, I don't see them doing anything to make it easier for me to find another job. Now I can see a need for a special group of medical professionals that cares for athletes post-retirement. A specialized group of doctors might make it cheaper to deal with issues instead of just relying on a family doctor using a civilian medical plan.

If the word 'literally' virtually means just the opposite of what it used to, what word do I use in its place? There is figuratively no other word to replace it.............. literally. Virtually speaking of course.

That's cool, I can respect that. I wasn't curious about your employer, more about what kind of fuel systems you deal with. Cars a bit of a hobby of mine. -

Can you be more specific or is it top secret information? -
Literally everyone? Wow, how'd they manage that? ;) There are a few sections of SoFL where they all congregate. Lots of Habs fans when they come down here to play.

I can give you a hug while wearing a bunny costume. Is that close enough? :D

Thanks, I'll save that for future use. I would think NHL.com would delete old information, at the very least date it.
-
So was mine. You came back with a condescending comment regarding my link. I didn't use Wikipedia as a source. Nothing I quoted came from Wikipedia. I could just as easily have done a search for 'NHL draft eligibility' and the link I used from NHL.com is #3 on the list. Regardless of where I got my link from Wikipedia was not my source. Do you need a hug? :flirt:
-
Don't want snark, don't start with it. The source for my link was on the Wiki page...... it was an NHL.com source. I clearly posted that several posts back. Shrader asked where I got it from. Wiki didn't claim the info............ NHL.com did........therefore NHL.com is the source.
-
The source is from NHL.com. But thanks for playing.

I got the link from Wikipedia '2015 NHL Entry Draft'. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_NHL_Entry_Draft Yours looks identical without the addition of actual dates. According to my link they have until May 1 to declare.... or "opt in".
-
This is from NHL.com. So you're right. The date for the 19th birthday was extended to December 31. Either way, they must "opt in". Prior to May 1 OR 7 days after his team has completed competition. http://www.nhl.com/ice/page.htm?id=26377 Entry Draft Eligibility All players age 19 or older [(i) any player who will be age 18 on or before September 15 in the year in which such Entry Draft is held, or (ii) reaches his 19th birthday between September 16 and December 31, both dates included, next following Entry Draft, can attain eligibility by delivering to the League a written notice (Opt in Form) prior to the later of May 1, or seven days following the date such player finishes competing on his team in the year in which such draft is to be held.] are eligible for claim in the Entry Draft, except: (i) A Player on the Reserve List of a Club, other than as a try-out; (ii) A player who has been claimed in two prior Entry Drafts; (iii) A player who previously played in the League and became a free agent pursuant to the Collective Bargaining Agreement; (iv) A plyer age 21 or older who had played hockey for at least one season in North America when he was age 18, 19 or 20
