The heat isn't the killer in South Florida. In fact, it has never gotten over 100° in West Palm Beach, Miami and Fort Lauderdale in recorded history. (Go a few miles inland and it might be a different story) It's the humidity, the fact it still stays in the 80's at night for nine months out of the year, and the fact it rarely gets below 60 in the winter.

Until I see some major improvement, I don't think either team will do well. I've tried to be an optimist for too long only to be disappointed. Now, I won't be happy until either team proves me wrong.

Where in Florida? I talk to my dad on a daily basis, a couple of weeks ago his pool was in the 90's. At night it rarely gets below mid 80's there. The cold water out of the tap is 84°. Here, it's 62° We still have yet to break 90°. ?

Adrien Brody just might be one of the top 3 best actors I have ever seen. He is a New Yorker who has played a punk rocker, a Polish Jew and an Italian. I'm sorry, guys like Tom Hanks and Leo Decraprio can't pull that off.

I'm also scared this team is soft. I'm not sure it's as much as the roster as it is the coaching philosophy. The Panthers were soft until they brought in Spuddy and then Boogie. They seemed soft to start off last year, then they second half of the season they same players took to his coaching style and started pushing people around, not taking any . They ended up finishing with the best record in the NHL after the all-star game.

Still loving Peaky Blinders. Kinda cool to watch a crew that has a ton of talent but isn't big name, corporate actors. Adrien Brody did get added in season 4, he is one of the best actors I have ever watched.

You can't get an entire team full of players who excel in every aspect of the game. Some guys lack the talent in some aspects but excel in others. You want a guy who can score goals? You're going to pay a hefty price if you want one that can play a two game. This is where the head coach does his job. Lindy was notorious the last couple of years for forcing players to do what they weren't good at. A great coach will recognize each player's strong points and utilize them accordingly. That's what Spuddy Gallant was good at in Florida, and is now good at in Vegas.

Great farm system or not. I'm being cautiously optimistic, yet I've given up having high expectations. Been disappointed too many times lately to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I'd like to have both.

I haven't been a big fan of JBots so far. But, if he can manage a decent extension for the ballerina, I might be tended to sway how I feel about him.

Yeah, he's not big on the assist department, but he can put up the goals.
