  1. That might not be a bad idea. I think he's in for a breakout season, and I'm kinda concerned about Bell getting hurt.
  2. I've got 1st overall pick in my fantasy football league. Who do I take? Draft is in an hour.
  3. He ain't bad. It's just not the same knowing it's not Perry singing. I think the only band that was able to bring in somebody to replace what was already there was AC/DC. Then again, they didn't force Brian Johnson to do Bon Scott's songs, they went on with business as usual and made new music. Today's Journey is like Lynyrd Skynyrd.
  4. I'll admit it, I love Journey, and still listen to them. Faithfully................. And that guy they have singing now.............................. no. You can't replace Steve Perry's voice. If you're going to add a new singer, make new songs. Van Halen was great with both David Lee Roth and Sammy because they went in a new direction when Sammy took over. They didn't force him to be David Lee Roth.
  5. I am too. Not the veteran I was hoping for, because he's not a veteran. I hope he gets a chance to play, if only to see why Denver gave up on him. He can't be any worse than Peterman.
  6. Bills will be working out Paxton Lynch tomorrow. https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/1036732984051867648
  7. Well, either I put too much emphasis on mentoring........... or you don't put enough. I'm just not comfortable with a QB core with absolutely no experience leading this team. With those guys, at least they'll have a chance to win a few games and make this season half entertaining, all while teaching the younger guys. The way it sits now, the season is already done.
  8. I agree with WildCard. They need a pocket QB to mentor Allen. Without looking through the rosters, there has to be an Orton/Cutler type that could be had for a 2nd/3rd round pick. Nick Foles, Chad Henne, Matt Schaub............... Those kind of guys.
  9. I like Casey Mittelstadt and Rasmus Dahlin.
  10. I'm talking about a Kyle Orton or Jay Cutler type. Doesn't make any sense to overspend to bring in a veteran superstar to set the world on fire, because this team isn't going to make the playoffs. But somebody like Cutler or Orton would be better than Peterman and Allen at this point. And a QB similar to those two would have been around the block enough to help transition both Peterman and Allen into a better position leading into next year. Less than 3 games experience from the entire QB core is a recipe for disaster. It just doesn't work.
  11. I'm not exactly sure who is available.
  12. The way I see it is many of the best QB's in the league spent a year or two on the bench behind established veterans. I'd like to see an established veteran in this lineup. It instills no confidence when your entire QB core has less than three games experience. Of course it's not to learn the ropes from Peterman, that's kinda my point. There is nothing to learn from him.
  13. The whole point in keeping a rookie QB off the field for a year is to learn the ropes from a veteran QB. What the hell is Allen going to learn from Peterman? This team isn't going to the playoffs this year. They need to sign an aging QB in the twilight of his career to come in and start for a season. If Allen's sitting back learning from Peterman, they're just wasting a year.
  14. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase the football package offered by DIrectTV if it was offered outside of DIrectTV. Alas it's not.
  15. One thing I noticed, the clock management by the Bears at the end of the 1st half. But, he didn't seem to be in a hurry to try for a TD. It looked like he wanted to drag the clock out to give his FG unit some time, almost like he knew he had the game wrapped up. I bet he's regretting that decision.
  16. It's unfortunate I fell asleep on the couch when they went down 27-3, and then woke up with two minutes left.
  17. Well, that was unexpected.
  18. These commentators for the Bears just might possibly be the worst duo I have ever seen in any sport.
  19. Yeah, I saw that. For some reason I thought it was aired nationally up this way, turned out I was wrong. Kinda planned the whole night around it, got a 2.5 pound pork tenderloin to rub and grill........... was gonna pig out and sit back to watch the game.
  20. My point has been overlooked. Revenue generator or not, it's irrelevant to my question. And if it wasn't an issue, then regular season games would be readily available online. Don't question me, question the NFL. It seems as though they seem to think there's a difference.
  21. Are you telling me the Bills-Bears game is comparable to the Falcons-Eagles game next Thursday? There is a difference. If there weren't, Game Pass would also offer full length, live, regular season games. Alas, they don't.
  22. Yeah, I'm not looking to dig, and then have to hook the laptop up to the TV, etc....... I was just hoping to add an app to Roku or PS4. It looks like Game Pass offers full, live pre-season games. https://gamepass.nfl.com/packages
