It's pretty apparent who the NFL wanted to win this game, there's no beating the system.

I've been asking that question on here for a while now, with no answers. The only difference being that I don't think there is anything to be done about it that we aren't already doing. K-9 mentioned earlier about the number of mass shooting that occur in the US. We tend to concentrate on the school shootings, theater shootings, church shootings.............. but the fact of the matter is the VAST majority of those mass shootings (http://shootingtracker.com/wiki/Main_Page) have nothing to do with the shooting that the media concentrates on, they occur in the inner-city most of them gang and drug related. What can we do about the mass shootings that happen in schools and churhces? It really shouldn't even be in the discussion because they rarely happen when you look at the big picture. We are already trying to improve the economy, we are already trying to spend more time concentrating on inner-city poverty and trying to open up opportunities for those that live there. Is it enough? Obviously not, but we're doing much more than we used to, something is being done. Most people equate mass shootings to whatever they see on TV, in reality most of the mass shootings has nothing to do with these types of scenarios. People need to get their priorities straight if they are concerned about mass shootings. The school shootings aren't the problems, they are the outliers in the realm of mass shootings. You're right, there are many factors. Psyche drugs happen to be one of the most biggest common denominators of them all. I agree, psyche drugs do help many people but you can't eliminate them from the discussion because they help more than they hurt. Those who think that mass shootings are a major issue that needs to be addressed cannot overlook the causes, no matter how beneficial they've been to many others. Many of the most contributing factors so far include firearms, race, religion, age, sex, mental state and prescription drugs. The only one of those factors that hasn't remained constant throughout is the prescription drugs. It cannot be ignored simply because it is beneficial in other ways. Is it the only factor? Of course not. But it is a signifcant factor. Oh boy. I bet that was.....................................interesting.

Just because they help, doesn't mean they can't hurt. Guns have helped save many lives too, but you want to blame them. You have a lot of heart, but you're a very naive person.

I think there's going to be two big surprises on that list.

Most are ON the drugs. Most that commit the crime AREN'T unmedicted. You might want to open your mind and consider the possibility that some don't need to be medicated, and those that are might be suffering fatal side effects. Guns existed way before mass shootings, psyche drugs are a recent thing. Young people are becoming more and more medicated because a doctor doesn't deem them 'normal'. It's not a coincidence that most mass shooters are under the age of 30.

I have to disagree, it's not a distraction and something that needs to be seriously looked at. Many mentally unstable people are ummedicated, but in the vast majority of these shootings it's not the unmedicated that commit the act, it's the ones that are on or just recently came off of psyche drugs.

I guess that $4mil/yr for a borderline 3rd liner wasn't such a good idea after all.

Have they determined whether or not Chris Harper had mental issues? I've read he was a loner and didn't have many friends, but I haven't heard much else since. Instead of looking at guns as the issue, when are we going to start looking at the side effects of psyche drugs that seem to play a role in many of these shootings? Seems big pharm gets a pass when handing these things out like candy to any doctor willing to write prescriptions without knowing the long term effects.

It's not fair to take a small segment of the popuation that wants to make it easier to acquire guns and apply it to everybody that stands for gun rights. Not following the NRA very closely, I think their stance isn't necessarily making it easier but they are against gun-free zones (in general, not necessarily applied to UCC).

Telling people to keep digging isn't very productive.

To me, for the most part, modern day Libertarians are yesterday's conservatives.

He doesn't complete the play. He doesn't say 'he scores', he doesn't say 'goal'............ He'll say something like 'Ennis with the backhander' and leave it at that. You won't know that Ennis scored until you hear the horn, or you realize the play is no longer in action. I can't remember whcih goals exactly, the Ennis goal against Ottawa was one, so was tonight's empty netter.

That would be nice. One thing to consider, not that it proves anything, but their security guard are unarmed.

There's been a few in the pre-season he hasn't called. Somebody mentioned the other day, he's assuming we're all seeing it on TV. He didn't call the empty netter. Didn't even know the play was done.

WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL DUNLEAVY TO CALL THE GOALS!##!$#$!$@$@#
