    Sabres are 2-1 with Doug Allen. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I understand mixing up lines to try and find chemistry, but at some point don't you need to stick with a combo for a few games to let these guys get used to each other? Man, it used to be lines would stay together for months. Bylsma can barely go a period much less an entire game. (Post merging makes no sense to me............................)

    Looks like Patricia turned out to be more like Hurricane Charley than Typhoon Haiyan. It fizzled just as quickly as it strengthened, and since it didn't build up strength over time it didn't have the energy of a typical cat.5 storm. Peak winds were impressive, but barely extended out from the center. Since it didn't strengthen until the last second, storm surge wasn't bad. Charley strengthened quickly but was very compact and short lived. Haiyan was huge and had plenty of time to build up energy.

    You asked, I answered. And any legitimate viruses will be undetectable. The problem I had wasn't with NHLGC, it was with Kodi. And the only problem I had with Roku was the first game, minor issues for part of a period in another game. Aside from that it's been perfect. The forced ads do anger me though.

    1. More often than not NHLGC has a much better video quality (at the very least, more consistent). 2. Hockeystreams is illegal. 3. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Which means there is a much higher chance that hockeystreams is loaded with malware and viruses.

    I don't know if there is any "high" interest in Stamkos. All that's been mentioned is there were talks before the draft. For all we know Yzerman called Murray to see if a deal could be swung involving the #2 pick. Now, if it came to that, I would trade very little for him even if an extension was in the works beforehand. This is Eichel's team. Us fans have spent a few years of misery patiently waiting for this team to be built and ready to move forward. Too much risk involved, too much future at stake. It would be a bad move. Yup, that's about it.

    Yeah, that's the way I ended up doing it was through my flatscreen via the laptop. I almost always use the Roku but todays game was on NHL Network so it wasn't televised on NHL Game Center. The only way I could watch it was by using a VPN service which is only installed on the laptop, and then by watching it on the flatscreen through the laptop. If I have to use my laptop I prefer Kodi because it's much smoother. (I have U-Verse so I don't have NHL Network) Most games aren't going to be on NHL Network so it's really not an issue. I was just curious. On a side note, that's not a bad idea going straight to NHL.com to get to the broadcast. It's much quicker than logging in through NHLGC.

    I noticed they now force you to watch commercials on NHLGC. Way to go NHL, fail to improve your product yet find a way to make it worse.

    Kodi not working today. No games listed, I had no choice but to use my laptop because the game is in NHL network and I don't get NHL Network. For some reason there is nothing to choose from after you click on live games and select the game you want. The next option should be which feed to watch.

    I figured most teams have three guys, one on the ice and two up top. I was under the impression that the RJ/Ray combo was kind of unique.

    Man, that's spooky. I remember when Wilma hit here, it was such an odd sensation with the strongest part of the eye hitting and no more than a few minutes later it all stopped. Everybody was outside surveying the damage for the 15 minutes we were in the eye. Then, back into the house for round two.

    I'm always drawn back to this video taken on the west coast of Florida when Charlie came through. This had winds of 155 MPH, I can't imagine 200+ MPH.

    Ah OK, gotcha. Makes sense, put a lot more emphasis on who you decide to swap if/when you do make a roster change. I enjoy both either way, two different strategies.
