  1. The O'Reilly Factor
  2. One stat to note, as much as we'd like to see Moulson step up, he is leading the team with a +1.
  3. Agreed, the composure was impressive...... all while not letting themselves get pushed around.
  4. "It's not about huggin' trees, it's not about being wasteful either. You just gotta find that balance where taking care of yourself, takes care of more than just yourself."????
  5. Do commercials interrupt the WGR boradcast on the air too? Or is it just the streaming broadcast? This is getting old........
  6. December is here and usually both BFLO teams are already eliminated from playoff contention.
  7. That was one of the better all-around wins all year. Their toughness was challenged in the 2nd and they didn't back down. That's one thing that hasn't been tested much this year.
  8. Oh ye, of little faith. B-)
  9. So why isn't there a 2 minute power play for interference if the refs clearly saw on replay that there was interference? WTF!
  10. Fresh Market's peanut butter chocolate chip cookies.
  11. Weak, Chad, weak....................
  12. Shoulda just kept it to myself.
  13. https://twitter.com/SabresPR/status/672915845908144128 Sabres PR ‏@SabresPR With 4 goals tonight, BUF would have 4 or more in 4 straight (same season) for the 1st time since they did it in 5 straight (2/20-3/2/2007).
  14. Gun laws cannot prevent criminals from getting guns any more than drug laws can prevent people from procuring narcotics. The more such Utopian goals are pursued through government’s police power, the less free we become............
  15. This could get interesting.......
  16. Grrrrr........ 5 minutes late to swap out goaltenders.
  17. Seriously? We're comparing the outcry of gun control to safe cars? Responsible gun owners take responsibility. As I've mentioned they do their part. If the opposing side comes forward and says "it's all your fault, what are you going to do about it?" you shouldn't expect to get a solution because the gun owners are going to say they can't fix a problem in which they don't contribute. Like everything else in life, if you think there's a problem it's up to you to do something about it. Responsible gun owners aren't to blame, don't expect them to fix it. I'd use an analogy but I won't. Gun owners aren't responsible for radical Islamists. Some have come up with solutions for radical Islamists but the same crowd that wants gun control doesn't think it's compassionate enough.
  18. The common denominator is not guns. It's just the easiest to blame.
  19. The difference in your 'metaphor' is that there is no massive outcry for a vehicle that prevents death, therefore there is no obligation to extinguish any battle cries. The liberals aren't providing the other side of the coin because they're the ones that already provided the first side. The 2nd Amendment activists weren't the ones that came out and said you need to provide a solution to what we think is your problem. The liberals are the ones that want to put the burden on the shoulders of the gun owners, by simply providing the contradictory talking points aren't going to solve anything. But they're the ones that want explanations from the gun owners so it should be up to them to come up with a legitimate solution. Alas, the situation that got this discussion going again has nothing to do with gun rights nor does it have anything to do with poverty.
  20.
  21. It wasn't a metaphor, it's an actual issue. One that shares the exact same logic used on gun owners. The point is the same. If you want I'll use gun-owning conservationists. They don't "conserve" to extinguish liberal battle cries, nor should they have to. Most gun owners are responsible and teach that to their kids, they don't do it to extinguish liberal battle cries nor should they have to. The same applies to illegal street racing. It's not up to the responsible ones to battle the irresonsible, but they do it anyways. Just because you don't see it, doesn't mean it's not there. ;)
  22. I guess I was just confused about what you meant by 'largest gun ownership demographic'. I see your point but I'm not exactly sure what they're supposed to do about it. All gun owners that I know of have gone through all the steps to ensure a safe household, keep their guns well hidden, and have taught their kids about responsible gun ownership. Now, that's just my experience, I'm not implying it's that way for everybody. I'm not a gun owner and I'm also not a fan of the NRA, but the ironic thing is most gun owners I know aren't fans of the NRA either. Many of them have canceled their memberships. Aside from what most gun owners have done personally, I just don't see why they have to extinguish liberal battle cries. Because to them, gun ownership isn't the issue. Saying that all gun owners have a stake gun violence and doing something about it is like saying I have to do something about illegal street racing because I have a car that I tow to the track.
  23. Why does there need to be any blame? Poverty does play a part, so do many other factors. I think a main contributor is the fact that the US is one of the most, if not the most diversified country on the planet. We have blacks, Asians, Hispanics, whites, browns, yellows, rednecks, liberals, athiests, religious............ all of them in large numbers unlike some countries where those people represent a tiny minority. What is a common denominator is these shootings/suicide bombings. That is a globalwide issue that can't be pinpointed by domestic issues.
  24. Do you think the "largest demographic" trumps the "highest percentage demographic"? Probably a dumb question because you implied as much, perhaps I should as why does the largest demographic trump the highest percentage demographic?
  25. No doubt! Seeing that bag of green and yellow Swedish Fish is like going to watch a sequel of a movie classic that never should have been revisited.
