I think that's where the NHL has gotten themselves into a quandry. When the first started it was basically just through the website and everything went relaitvely smooth. Then they were pressured into becoming multi-platformed. I don't think they've done a terrible job but I also think that they've hesitated to resolve anything knowing that MLB is taking over. We probably won't see it this season, but I'll bet we see some more consistency as time goes on.

That's what I said last year before they brought in Rex. I still don't think he's the problem. But, I'd consider that a major change and it didn't make a bit of damn difference. I'll pay attention to the scores next year, but I'm not going out of my way to make sure I find a TV where the game is being televised. I didn't pay attention to the draft, spring training and pre-season this year. I still couldn't name 2/3 of the players in the field. My interest will be lower than that next year. Define 'oldish farts'.......

Give an extra point to teams that score 4+ goals.

He said it was just a cramp. Must have had too much coffee. Make it so speed and quickness is again a major factor in a great goaltender. It's nice to see a mixture of different types of goaltenders. Haven't seen that in years.

I was the highest scoring team in my money league. Had a healthy roster. I just got beat by 5 points because my defense ended up with - 2 points and his ended up with 20. It didn't help that Rodgers, Cobb and Peterson all sucked ass yesterday. It is gambling, don't let anybody tell you picking a good defense isn't important. It cost me $$$.

Everybody lies in debates, it's not GOP specific. If they aren't lying about their past, they're lying about the future because they won't address 90% of the things they talk about.

They can't rig elections. If more people weren't swayed by media coverage and $$$ it wouldn't matter how much funding a candidate. It's not like voters aren't aware of the other candidates. That's what's wrong with the system, those who advance are the ones with the cash flow. There's only one way to beat it.

Support the lesser-knowns. As long as people keep choosing between the candidates that the media wants you to choose from, we'll never get out of this endless cycle of incompetency. Vote for a lesser-known in the primaries, vote for 3rd party in the general.

This is why I'm done with football next year. I may follow just enough to play fantasy but that's about it. This team is a joke from top to bottom. NFL is an unwatchable product and the only reason I watched was because of the Bills. I don't have Direct TV so I need to go out to watch the games. The closest bar to my house is a Jets bar. They do play all the other games but got no there is almost intolerable. No way I'm putting myself through that any more just to watch the Bills fail, again. Professional sports is in decline. I've gave up on MLB, then NBA, then NASCAR and now NFL. NHL isn't far behind the way it's going.

I wish they'd air the commercials too. As much as I can't stand commercial, it's better than 2 minutes of dead air. Local commercials are somewhat tolerable compared to the repetitive network ads.

A question to the SS hockey scholars. I think Paul MacLean is in the last year of his contract with Ottawa. It's surprised me that Boudreau hasn't been fired yet. I figured that since MacLean is already employed by the Ducks that any compensation to Ottawa would have already taken place. Would his actual title have anything to do with that? Would the Sens be owed draft pick compensation up until the end of December 31 if MacLean were to be named head coach even though he is already employed by the Ducks?
