What's even worse about being 28th in the league in scoring is, about 10 games into the season the Sabres were near the top in power play, corsi and shots on goal. So they've had to regress that much more to over the last 30 games to put themselves near the bottom in all those categories. It's not like they started off at the bottom.

16th in goals allowed, 28th in goals scored. Defense and goaltending is not the problem.

He's a defenseman. We have a large handful of forwards playing completely inept hockey, how a defenseman can be blamed for the lack of offense at this point I'll never understand. I don't know who to blame at this point but to have a 3 point improvement over last season at this point with O'Reilly, Kane, Eichel, McGinn and Rinehart added to the roster is completely unacceptable. I don't care how long these guys haven't been together. Bogo and Johnson aren't the reason for the Sabres are in last place.

Bogo and Johnson are not the issues. Johnson had a .941 save % over the last two months coming into this game. Ullmark has the 2nd work goal support in the league. You do the math. I thought everybody had four of them.

Thanks for the advice. Right now I've got a full suspension 15 year old store bought mountain bike. Even though all it's used for right now is long trips, I like having the ability to take it wherever I can go. I'd like to for something in between a dual sport and a full out trail bike. Judging by price I could be persuaded to stay away from full suspension and go with a hardtail. That way some of that money could go towards a little better quality hardware. I like the pics of yours. That's cool you're putting on 20+ mile trips on a bike that's 50+ years old. Can I steal this and turn it into one of those motivational posters they hang on the wall? :D

Have you pieced together a present day bike or do you stick to the old classics? I've just spent three hours looking at bikes online, trying to become more familiar with what is out there.
