That's the way I see it too. For the first couple of years it almost seemed like he because he got the impression that he had to be the savior. Now that he's got some talent around him he's accepted a different role. If your forwards are hot, stick with what's working. I'm sure if Skinner goes into a scoring slump, him and Skinner might switch roles. He's 4th in the NHL in assists. I'm not concerned.

I just watched the end of the game. What the hell was Ristolainen thinking on that OT goal? Did he think play had stopped? One thing I've noticed over the years, the Sabres have an incredibly bad habit of NOT peppering goaltenders who aren't that good. They beat elite goaltenders and lose to crappy ones. -

Panthers are 2nd in the league in SOG per game. They're also 2nd worst in save percentage. -

They've been moving him all over the place. He's actually been a healthy scratch for almost half the season. Reimer has been beyond awful this year. -
/sarcasm ?

One of the newest members of the Islanders broadcast team. I don't see the resemblance. https://twitter.com/JenBotterill

I agree. Most of the time this is one of the most civil forums I've been on. To keep pushing the issue on a very clean forum is petty.

In my opinion, if the kid is smart enough to realize somebody is disguising a swear word, chances are he hears that word on a regular basis. Yes, thicker skin. But I'll try.

Absolutely not.

I don't mind having old guys officiating the game as long as there is a mixture of younger guys. But that entire crew looked over 70. (exaggerating a bit, but not much). At times it looked like they had no clue what they were doing.

The one set that was especially aggravating was when he converted a 3rd and 5 that was negated by a penalty. Then he converted that 3rd and 15, once again to be negated by a penalty. The line sucks, a lot of missed passes were forced because he didn't want to run the ball himself every single play. Going 8 for 19 had little to do with his lack of experience.

Dating back to last year, Cory Schneider has now lost 17 straight regular season games, 15 of them in regulation.

People need to stop looking for instant gratification. Most of the best QB's took 2-3 years to develop, either by riding the bench and learning from the veteran starter, or by having 2-3 bad years and learning from their mistakes. My god, the dude's only played six games. Sorry, I missed your post. I agree with you 100%.

Time to go home, I'm not watching the rest of this garbage.

Nice to see coach has done something about the penalty issues. This team is a ***** joke.

Detroit hasn't been as hot as they were. They've lost 3 of 5 and needed OT for both of the wins. -
It was fun while it lasted.

Maybe somebody mentioned this and I missed it. But Eichel is tied for 4th in the league in assists with Malkin. Sorry, just not going to complain about his performance. Instead of trying to be the savior like he's done in years last, he's matured and is now just doing what it takes to win. Perhaps he's taking the long shot purposely so Skinner and P-Ville can jump on the rebounds.

I must have been about 5, I went to a game and our tickets were right next to the room for the organ player. He saw me watching and he picked me up and put me on his lap and I watched him play for like 15 minutes. This was back in the day when there was no music so he filled the void in between every face off.

I was there for Perreault's 500th goal. Man, those early Bandits games were a blast! I had season tickets for the first three seasons. That was back when these guys had regular jobs and they were getting paid $150 per game. Their very first game, they had closed off the upper level not expecting a huge turnout. It turned out to be so popular that they opened up the upper level for the rest of the season and sold out every single game.

Hence the karma. ?
