I think Rick is doing a fantastic job! Considering all he's been through and his age, he's doing great. Some cities aren't as familiar with hockey as BFLO and need announcers to keep them informed of the basics of the game. Sabres fans don't need that, Rick is a minimalist, keeps the flow going and creates conversation. That's all Sabres fans need, familiar background noise. Just the fact that he doesn't sound like he just graduated from announcing school with regurgitated cliches is enough for me. I hope he stays there as long as possible.

I'm pissed because it's the 2nd game I missed this year. Now I have to wait 10 more games before I get to see another entertaining game. Johnson's save percentage has been through the roof the last three months. He's probably sitting back thinking "what do I need to do to earn a starting job somewhere?"

They turned the ASG into a circus, a joke of an event. Why should they care if Scott made it? You can't just disqualify certain players they don't want in the roster. The asked the fans what they wanted, the fans responded. Many fans are pissed that he's taken hitting and fighting out of the league, whether or not that's why the fans voted for Scott I don't know. But the clearly wanted a goon there. Napoleon is stabbing the fans in the back, and he'll continue to do so as long as fans keep coming back. Sooner or later it'll be too late to turn it around. I know I'm not going to watch now. I'm not as pissed about not seeing John Scott, I'm pissed at watching Bettman ruin this sport.
