  1. That was an entertaining 3rd period. The Sabres play better when they know they need a goal as opposed to going into a shell and blowing a lead.
  2. Was that really a good win? The Sabres pulled ahead of 3 other teams with that win, how is that going to help a draft position?
  3. Yeah you can start it from the beginning. What device are you watching it on? With 60 FPS I wonder how much more Internet speed is needed.
  4. I'm thoroughly impressed so far.
  5. Somebody should have told Cheryln Toca to wash her face.
  6. There have a been some HFBoards scouts at the last few games.
  7. 'Measured' is a good word. I have this glimmer of hope that he turns around and runs as a Libertarian. Wishful thinking though.
  8. I knew Rand wasn't going to make it. But now, with him out, there is no reason for me to pay attention to this ridiculous circus. I see no other viable candidate from either side. Precise, conservative, legitimate policy, civilized, never flip flopped...................... why would Americans want that? It doesn't fit the WWE narrative.
  9. The Caps with EIGHT power plays through two periods?
  10. So Larkin didn't really break Gartner's speed record. Larkin started at the blue line so he got a running start to the red line. Gartner started from a standstill from the redline, not to mention the fact that he was timed from the start of the whistle so he lost .1 because of reaction time alone.
  11. I find a couple of hidden gems here and there, but most of the decent stuff isn't in my general area. Certainly not something close enough to bike to on a casual ride.
  12. How did they manage to write in and tabulate MVP fan votes in a matter of minutes?
  13. If 'six in one, half a dozen in the other' is supposed to describe two alternatives............ what is a baker supposed to do?
  14. Man, I really enjoyed that much more than I thought I would. Glad to see it all worked out for John Scott. It's a shame that it was probably his last NHL game and that the league is close to exterminating every player like him. I fear the loss of his type and that aspect of the game will eventually lead to my loss of interest within a few years.
  15. Must be nice to live somewhere where there is a nice selection of places to eat.
  16. Mmmmmmmmmm, strawberry cream Peeps.
  17. If I did a shot for every time McGuire said the word 'fun' I would have been on the floor before player introductions. Seriously, I was so sick of hearing about all the fun they were having, and asked to describe how much fun it is, I wasn't having any more fun. Enjoy tomorrow, it's really unfortunate that it might be the last time we see John Scott.
  18. I do like the 60FPS. If there's one complaint I have is the flow of the video, it just doesn't seem as smooth as watching a game on U-Verse. It would also be nice if there was a way to skip ahead, or back 10 seconds on a Roku..... like a DVR. But that's a Roku issue.

  20. A friend of mine in Edmonton said BFLO's name has been mentioned for Justin Schultz.
  21. I view modern day Libertarianism as yesterday's Conservatism. What the GOP calls a conservative nowadays is a far cry from what a real conservative is. To me Rand Paul is a real conservative and that's what scares the establishment. It's the reason he's been phased out, or tossed under the bus. No different than what they did to his father. Many people who call themselves conservative today wouldn't know conservative if it slapped them in the face. I'm not a vet but I'm also disgusted with the way he used them as props. Not to mention the fact that Trump didn't promote any organizations that deal directly with vets, instead promoting his own organization that was just created in which nobody knows where the money actually goes. Before last night Trump had only donated $57,000 to veterans since 2008.
  22. I agree, it was a pretty good debate. They got the Trump nonsense out of the way early and then everybody forgot about him.
