Lehner's dad was Lundqvist's goaltending coach growing up. -
OK, got it, thanks guys. I've done a lot of desserts over the years but never had to use a pastry cutter. I could have just looked it up. Looks like making mashed potatoes the old fashioned way. I might just do that. Wouldn't be the first dessert I've made without utensils.

Somebody help me with Sizzle's cake. The second part is making the topping, mixing in the flour, sugar, cinnamon, etc...... The only direction it gives is "combine topping ingredients with a pastry cutter until crumbly". Does the mixture turn out somewhat hard and can be broken up into pieces with a cutter? Do you lay it out like dough and cut it into pieces?

Anybody going to see AC/DC @ FNC in three weeks? Not any more you're not. Not unless you're willing to go to the reschedule date with a guest vocalist. Brian Johnson's doctor has told him to stop performing immediately at the risk of complete hearing loss. https://www.yahoo.com/music/ac-dc-reschedule-10-shows-due-injury-231100544-rolling-stone.html

The Sabres are really good at allowing goals in the first and last minutes of periods. I don't have any stats handy but it happens much more often than it should. I do know they've allowed 7 goals within the first minute of games. This game has nothing to offer, time to turn on the Panthers-Bruins game.
-
The Sabres have a knack for making backup goaltenders look good. Not tonight, they actually have to challenge him to make him look good.
-
Why should there be goaltender interference when the goaltender is out of his crease?!?!?! BS!!
-
2nd time in 2 games against the Leaves they've given up a goal in the first minute and a half. Of course that was the only goal they gave up that game.

Or both....................

It makes a HUGE difference. When Senators and Reps go to vote, it doesn't make a bit of difference how different they are because the R or D is all that matters. When they vote yea or nay, they apply to R and D. The only way to break a gridlock with a do nothing congress is to get an additional letter in there. I know it's all a pipe dream to get a valid 3rd party storm into congress and the White House, but the logic still applies. When the Tea Party voted, the votes still went to the R's. If they had become an official party, we would be looking at an entirely different situation right now. We might even see a 4th party gain some ground since people saw that an official Tea Party made a successful run (in my hypothetical that the Tea Party became an official party). Until then, it will continue to be the 'lesser of two evils' which is exactly what they want. Could break off part of the Dem and create a Socialist party. Granted it wouldn't be to the scale of Soviet Russia, but then again modern day conservatism isn't on scale either.
-
Perhaps, but bipartisanship isn't getting us anywhere. Whether the 3rd party has views similar to your own or not, it breaks up the gridlock. The Tea Party had momentum for a while, but they didn't have the balls to create their own party. All they did was ride the coattails of the GOP. Now, looking back, the Tea Party created division within the GOP and they still haven't recovered from it. That's why the party is in a tailspin. Having a faction does little to no good when the "R" is still attached to the name. Perot was a viable 3rd party candidate at a time when there wasn't as much of a need for one. Today, if a 3rd party could at least make some noise the might gain some traction for 2018 and 2020. We don't need more factions, we need more parties. Nothing gets accomplished unless there is a new letter attached to a name when it comes to votes in Congress.
-
I agree 100% that we need a shakeup to go along with a viable third party. Hell, I wouldn't mind a fourth and a fifth party. But this just isn't the way to go about it, we're living in a reality TV nightmare. It would be nice if this forces the Dems and the GOP to hit reset and start from scratch because the establishment needs to go away. I just can't for the life of me support anybody that's still running.
-
I'm embarrassed by the whole situation, we've become a laughing stock. I'm pretty big on politics and current events, but I've turned it all off for almost a month. I just can't take it any more. When I see what we're going through and realize there is no end in sight any time soon, for the first time in my life I'm starting to think I'm ashamed to be an American.

That never would have happened if the NHL would have nullified his waiver like they should have.
