  1. Did you know Kasich created 400,000 jobs when he was governor of Ohio?
  2. I was under the impression every draft choice that plays in college must be signed within 30 days of finishing college (or at least deciding to leave school) or they become a UFA. It's pretty standard as far as I know.
  3. Can't say I've seen it, that's what I've heard though.
  4. That's pretty cool. The arched walkway (I know there's a name for it) is a nice touch. Won't see tunnels like that being built any more. One of these days, if I don't move to a city that has them, I'm going to go on vacation to one of these cities that has turned their old railways into trails. I was in Montana a long time ago and they were working on a big system around Glacier area.
  5. has anybody seen Harrison Ford lately? I'm not sure he even know there are four others.
  6. People put way too much into goal calls. RJ was great in the day because he was spontaneous and everybody loved when he made a memorable call. Nobody cared about what he would say next and nobody cared about what he would come up with for each player. Over the years the fanfare took away from it all and ruined the moment. Just let the man do his job and accept what he chooses to call.
  7. The broadcasts are in dire need of a major overhaul. Not necessarily (but not exactly excluding) the broadcast team. But the entire production. Of course there are the FOX owned channels where every team is cookie cutter, same format, same graphics, same token hot chick. I don't prefer to go cookie cutter as well but the Sabres broadcasts are so 1990's. The audio sucks, the video sucks, there are about half the camera angles of the other teams. With this team finally moving forward, it's about time the broadcast moves with it and modernizes.
  8. You got that right. Playoffs are a whole new ball game. I'm thinking I should sit my players so they're healthy for next week.
  9. Beach night in Muskegon. http://ftw.usatoday.com/2016/03/minor-league-hockey-team-might-have-best-worst-jerseys-ever
  10. Good luck in the playoffs! I'll be in the stands watching this week. Just call me El Presidente.
  11. That's a cool link. Nice trail system near that Lancaster Avenue bridge. Trails on both sides of the river?
  12. People die slipping and falling in the shower. Let's ban showers! I thought he had all the data on his audience because they're all staged actors. :D
  13. I've seen the specs, but is the difference between the 5p and 6x significant?
  14. That's a good point. I would have had to sign up through his website and provide all my information in order to get tickets. I was kinda leery about that.
  15. Nice. I like pictures of places where other people live. That looks like an old bridge. Here's a couple of mine. Nice sunset, and the amphitheater across the way with the American flag..... getting ready for The Donald tomorrow! I'm so tempted to go just to watch the train wreck. Only did 16 miles, ran out of daylight and didn't leave until after the Sabres game.
  16. Maybe next year WGR can fix their technical difficulties. It's only been three years. How cool would that be if it wasn't?
  17. Foligno's been tits for the last two-three months.
  18. Mmmmm, it's even better now that it sat for 2 days.
  19. The guy does have quite a lineup. http://www.law.georgetown.edu/faculty/oldham-james-c.cfm#
  20. Bettman didn't let him play during his appeal. Bettman also waited a few games to announce the 20 games to prolong the process. Bettman knew exactly what he was doing to get him his 20 games. He is a tyrant.
  21. It still doesn't negate my point.
  22. It doesn't take a month and a half. You don't find it awfully coincidental that the decision came out on the day of his 20th game? If he allowed Wideman to play during the appeal like most other organizations, the appeal would have been done a month ago (my opinion of course). Napoleon knew damn well how to play this out so he got his 20 games and he would look good to the refs. Not to mention he can now force the retirement of another veteran ref.
  23. Trump's going to be right down the road from me Sunday afternoon. I have purposely shut off the news and politics for the last month and it's following me around. I'm really tempted to get tickets just to see what happens, the district I'm in is extremely liberal. So liberal our rep ran unopposed last election. Maybe I'll just ride my bike up there and see if anything exciting happens, it's an outdoor venue.
