I've always said that good goaltenders (key word: good) are a dime a dozen, and they are. But Dallas can't seem to find ten cents. These two are just pitiful, you can only blame the defense for so long.
Apparently the NHL does not consider the KHL a professional league.

"To be eligible for the award, a player cannot have played more than 25 games in any single preceding season nor in six or more games in each of any two preceding seasons in any major professional league."
Since they didn't exercise his 5th year, he's going to be a free agent after this year anyways. I'm sure they could sign him if they wanted him back and he accepts a backup role.
So the Bills not exercising EJ's 5th year of his contract, he's ONLY going to make approx $3,000,000 this year as a backup? That must suck...........
I don't know why the Bills didn't exercise the $11,000,000 option.
Oilers with McDavid: .822 points/game
Oilers without McDavid: .892 points/game
McDavid didn't even make a difference for his team when he did play. I could see if the Oilers won a ton of games with McDavid in the lineup, but they didn't.
Good point, the games are very dependent on the competency of the officiating. What surprised me about those numbers is how little they deviated with the exception of the one outlier.
