So I heard where Max Lapeire on STL gets only 5 games while putting Dan Boyle out on a stretcher and Kaleta gets 10 games for a hit on J Johnson who plays more than 20 mins after the hit and there was no penalty on the play. Lapeire is a repeat offender too if I'm not mistaken. Shanny is a total joke!!

I think you picked the wrong guy. Why do we have John Scott on this team? I think he's way less valuable than Kaleta. Pat looks like he's really going to be more picky with his fights this year, stay relatively clean and he even said he's committed to being a top penalty killer. He brings more value than Scott.

Finally a complete 60 minutes from this team. PP still blows though. Ended Pittsburgh's win streak. Very nice, cause I hate the $%#@!@ team!!

It was great to see Ehrhoff FINALLY get in the middle shooting lane and fire the rocket for the Sabres 4th goal. So many times he's shooting from the left or right point and it gets blocked or goes friggin' wide. Man, that pi$$es me off!

I think it should change to: Losing in 4 on 4 OT you get nothing. If you survive to the shootout you get 1 for loss, 2 for win. 2pts for Reg win as usual. Just my 2cents here.

I really like Hockey Hotline. I try to listen to it on my way into work. I'm in Vegas, so basically, nobody talks hockey. Notice I said, "Try" to listen because my WGR either crashes or goes out constantly that it's becoming unbearable. Does anybody else have this problem with the app? I frustrates me to no end, so I haven't tuned in lately.

You forgot Leino and Hecht is not a Sabre anymore. Sabre blogger Garth on hockey buzz suggested Sekera for Sam Gagner C Oilers. I would definitely welcome that trade.

I didn't want to start a new thread on this so I posted here since its about this seasons roster. I don't think Shane Doan is gonna be a Sabre, so with that said. I really would like to see Jason Arnott don the Blue and Gold sweater. Sure, he's not the 30 goal scorer anymore, but he is a heck of Centerman who would provide valuable leadership qualities and show the younger gents how to get it done. Cap hit is minimal and the guy is still a good player. Thoughts? Who's with me here?
