What is the "Sabre Road Crew?". I live in Vegas and never heard of it. Last year they had the "Strictly Hip" perform outside NYNY Hotel before the game. It was fantastic. Tons of Sabres fans around. I will be there this year too.

Interesting. When he was hired, Stevie Y said "it was his dream to become a GM of a NHL team". Wonder why the change of heart? We all know the Bolts have been very good the last couple of seasons so its not like they have been basement dwellers (like the Sabres).

I really hope we don't have to see Beaulieu on the ice for the Sabres ever again! I haven't even seen Hunwick skate and I'd rather start him over Beaulieu any day of the week.

Definitely 05-06 was Buffalo's Year. Canes barely beat us as we we're playing a AHL defense that last game (and almost won I might add). There were several players that I absolutely hated on that Carolina team and thats why it hurt even more. Rod Brind'Amour, Erik Cole, Mark Recchi and Glen Wesley - friggin hated those guys. the 06 ECF Senators team was better than the Sabres (tough to admit). The most hated guys on that team for me was Daniel Alfredson, Chris Neil and Ray Emery. And in '99 you had to admit that if Buffalo would have won game 6, they would have had a very tough time trying win game 7 in Dallas. Although we sure would have liked the chance. Still waiting for our Cup.........

Beaulieu was so bad last season, Edmonton wouldn't even take him for free and I don't blame them. Seriously though, what are the Sabres going to do with Beaulieu? Can he be sent down? Waived? He better not be one of the 7 Dmen!!

Beaulieu and Tennyson were absolutely horrendous. Wish they could just cut them both. LOL!! I really hope one of the prospects surprise during camp and makes "The Show".

They have a relentless forecheck and they spread around the scoring with 3rd n 4th line guys. High goal differential too. Something Buffalo doesn’t have at all! Plus VGK have a lot of speed and getting some good goaltending even though their top 3 goalies are out. Fluery should be back very soon. Lastly Gerard Gallant really has these guys prepared every game. It’s been a fun team to watch so far.

I never thought as a now 20 year resident of Southern Nevada that I'd see my Sabres actually play here in a regulation game. Very excited to be attending tonight. I grew up in WNY and a grad of Orchard Park HS so I will be rocking the Blue and Gold #15 jersey tonight. But the Knights are now my favorite Western Conf team for sure. They have been off to a good start. Subban played lights out vs Boston on Sunday and was 30 secs away from a shutout. So awesome having two official teams to root for! But tonight I'll be hoping for 2pts Buffalo! The Strictly Hip will be playing pre game outside NYNY Hotel and there are already tons of Sabres jerseys around town that i've seen. Many former WNYorkers live in Vegas so the T-Mobile will be rocking tonight with Blue n Gold!!
