We'll the good thing about this lose in regulation is that both Edmonton and Calgary won tonight! If Enroth feels bad it's only going to be worse next season when we have to keep the tanks going for McDavid!

If Buffalo drafts a defenseman with their 1st pick when they are offensively challenge I think people will be pissed. We need Reinhart or Bennett with that first pick if we have a top 3 pick. Also It all depends on what New York does with that pick they traded us. If I'm another team wanting Vanek I don't plan on giving up a lot for him since he's going to test the market. Plus watching Vanek in New York is he's been very lazy. I'm not spending big money on a player that isn't going hard all game. To me Tavares is worth every penny. I'm sure management and teammates are pissed since he turned there offer down. The message it's sends is so bad. He knows he's going to get paid bank. I still think he goes to Minny after Heatley is gone at the end of the season.

I agree we need to lose tonight. We need some separation between us and Edmonton. No reason why we have to win these meaningless games the rest of the season! You want to get better we have to keep losing the rest of this season and carry it into next season.

We need offense. We don't have much up front scoring wise. They are taking offense you can count on that!

I agree that's why I said awhile back I don't see this team making the playoffs for at least 3-5 years. Even if we draft top 3 yeah that's a start but we really need McDavid. A player like him only comes around once in awhile. Not many players draw comparison to Crosby numbers wise. You want a Stanley Cup in Buffalo you do what you must to get him. The plan was started at the beginning of the year and should continue for at least one more season. If we don't land the 1st overall pick next year I would trade my whole draft next year just to get him. Call me crazy but he a franchise player u build around. Plus I still don't see Grigs being the answer for Buffalo. His skating needs a lot of work.

This game is over. Keep the losing going Buffalo. I want a top three pick! All these years of late playoff pushes have doomed this squad from picking up some serious talent. The question is how does Buffalo suck next year so we have a shot at McDavid. A top three pick plus McDavid would make this suffering all worth while. Plus should be interesting what the islanders do with their pick. I still think they finish in the bottom ten and draft this year.

Vanek isn't coming back end of story. I still think he replaces Heatley at the end of the season. Buffalo actually has a better chance at Heatley since Murray and Danny were both with Ottawa. Not that I want Heatley but Murray is going to make some sort of moves or the fans are gonna be pissed if it's the same squad like this season. I'm all for one more. $hit year if we have a solid shot at McDavid. But that's just me. A player like McDavid doesn't come around that often.

I agree if we trade Moulson who in the heck is going to put the puck in the net and you lose another solid player for what a guy that might make the team in 3-4 years. A team that's gonna trade for Moulson is going to land you probably a 1st rounder in the 20's. We can't lose every veteran on this squad. I would like to keep this same $hit squad for one more year minus miller so we have a solid shot at McDavid. A player like McDavid doesn't come around that often and I would like to get him! Then after next season it's all about putting together the best possible team.

I'm all for one more year at the tank job and a solid shot at McDavid. We know Leino sucks but we still need some salary on this team so we don't fall below the league minimum. Even if we land a top 3 pick this year we could use at at one more to help out. Players like McDavid don't come around that often. Right now we have one second line and 3 fourth lines.

At least Edmonton has won two in a row hopefully they can put together a few more and put some separation between them and us. Same goes for Calgary. I just want a crack at Bennett or Reinhart! Plus it should be interesting with the Islanders. Do they keep that pick and give us a shot next year. I highly doubt the Islanders are going to be much better next year. It's not a free agents priority to go there.

It's going to be interesting to see if other teams make a move on either of them before the Olympic break.

I would be up for that St Louis deal if it's Ty Rattie as the prospect.

Yeah this. Part of me wants Miller traded and then the other half is saying what could we get for him. A top prospect and a first would be great but the first is going to be real late . It's going to be interesting to see what Murray has in store. I notice Miller plays great in Olympic years so he upped his trade value at least!

If Vanek leaves it will be hard for them to fill his spot unless Moulson goes back to the Island.

I agree if this team has sunken this low why not suck one more year for a chance at two franchise players!

Thornton and Marleau aren't leaving San Jose. I highly doubt Alfredsson comes to Buffalo. Jagr will go to the highest bidder.
