In all honesty I love the Reinhart pick and what I seen of Lemiuex is he is going to be a player it's just about how high his ceiling will be. He could be just another Kaleta. Don't know much about all the others we selected just hoping our scouting staff knows those players better than the other 29 teams. To me Tampa and Anaheim are putting together a lot of talent.

This is the same ? I have why more picks. I know this draft isn't the greatest but why not package up some picks for higher picks and go for quality over quantity especially since u couldn't move up in round 1. Package a second and a third or more for another second. My biggest question now is this teams scouting staff hurt by not being able to bring in 50-60 prospects into Buffalo for their own eval camp like they did for a couple of years. Lots of questions. My biggest now is how active is Buffalo going to be in free agency. To be honest with u I like Ott and Moulson but don't really want to see any of these top free agents come here.

So I'm sure there is disappointed fans here that Murray kept those seconds and didn't draft Barbashev. Looks like no Russians going to be drafted by Murray anytime soon. I'm just stunned that he and most other teams weren't able to pull off more player trades.

This was the player I wanted since the beginning of the year. He was the best player on the ice in the prospects game.

I just don't see Lemieux ceiling being that high we need some skill players and I don't think we need another goalie.

I agree on your picks as I take Barbashev at 31 and I like what I hear about Dougherty game. Not so sure about picking another goalie. Lemieux probably won't amount much to more than a 3rd liner. I'm not so sure you take another goalie in the organization when u lack skilled offense players.

I'm interested in what Murray wants to do. I think Murray has a lot of moves he wants to make and I think he is going to go after the players he wants even if he has to overpay. The Kesler to Ducks deal makes Anaheim a potent team.

I think I will take the guy that can do a few more pull ups now. I think I take Bennett. I like his work ethic, skill and skating. Even though he isn't the biggest guy.

I really want Reinhart. He was the best player on the ice at the prospects game. Made the players around him better. So if the Canucks pull off a deal to get Reinhart at 1 do you take Ekblad or try to get Edmonton to unload something and flip flop spots with Edmonton and take Bennett.

I agree but if I'm Murray the move has to be Mantha for sure if Detroit is the team.

It all depends on who Buffalo gets coming back. It's not like Myers has been this superstud defenseman the last two years.

To me it's all about who would be coming back Mantha and a prospect, Mantha and a pick. Don't know. It has to be Mantha for sure +. I like Myers but he is so inconsistent and who knows if he ever gets his mind cleared. Everyone from his draft defense wise has been improving and he has been so so.

NFL seems to be working fine without a lottery. Difference is the top teams usually have the best quarterbacks or they have a very good quarterback with a top defense.

Would people be pissed if Florida passes on Ekblad and Buffalo selects him and then trades Myers to Detroit for Mantha?

This is bad news and a total joke. Don't know all the details yet but if every non-playoff team has a better chance at #1 than the league should be ashamed of themselves. You want parity look at the NFL. Worst team picks first end of story. Most teams don't intentionally tank anymore. Players take too much pride in themselves just to throw games. Yes I know it's the GM plays apart in most of this but most GM's don't tank if they want to keep their job.

It wouldn't shock me if they took Ekblad and moved a couple of 2nds and a d-man for a center. Wow could you imagine the defense pairing with all that we have and I'm not talking about Chad Ruewedel in that mix. Should be interesting tomorrow. I think they are going to be working the phones big time.

I wish Bennett would have played in the prospects game because to me it wasn't even close to who the best player was. Reinhart stood out and made his linemates better.

I wouldn't be surprised if Stewart, Stafford or Ehrhoff are moved by draft day or next years trade deadline. I think Murray is going to make several moves with players and those 3 second rounders. Either of the Sams will do just fine but what happens if Florida passes on Ekblad do u field offers from Edmonton or Calgary. I wouldn't trade down past 4. I'm not sold on the german.

I want Reinhart but something tells me that if Bennett is tough in all 3 zones and plays a hard nose game that Buffalo will pick him. But it would be interesting if Florida selects one of the Sams. Then what?
