Yes Murray didn't get great return on these players he moved today but what did you possibly think he was gonna get? These players are garbage. Stewart had one great year, we know he has size but doesn't use it to his full advantage, plus he was in the coaches doghouse on a last place team. Mitchell and Flynn who cares. Nievirth got a decent return but not to thrilled about him anyways. This team always tends to find goaltenders. The question I have about Murray is overpaying or not getting enough during trades. Yes Darcy was good at getting max value but was too afraid to make a bold move. I'm okay with giving him Murray time and see what kind of players he wants to bring in.

This just in NHL investigating Buffalo and Arizona about losing on purpose. Both teams surrender picks 1 and 2!

I always thought that Buffalo need to keep one of their two goalie's. But I have faith they will find goaltending. That is the least of this teams worries. Plenty of goalie's out their and we have plenty already in the system that just aren't ready yet.

The Sabres have always found goaltenders thru-out their history. That will continue plus we have others coming plus you have the two in sweden. Then the talk about the possible BU goalie.

A total rebuild wasn't going to happen overnight but face it folks this draft was key. Last year was the start as we got the guy we wanted and now we need one of the big two. Reinhart and one of the big two should be ready to step in next year. Finishing with the 3-5 pick will probably continue another unwatchable hockey next year. But at least they would be more fun to watch with Reinhart or McEichel on the team.

Their are so many goalie's out there. I'm not worried about the goaltending situation. This team always finds a goalie.

That's how I feel, these last two years are unwatchable but if you land one of the big 2, throw in Reinhart, a healthy Kane plus whatever other prospect that could step into the lineup at least it would be fun to watch.

People think that Defenseman is going to jump right into this lineup if we pick 3. Yeah if he stood out in WJC but he didn't and I thought their were better defense on Team USA before him.

I highly doubt it. He didn't stand out in WJC and defense is alot tougher to play in the NHL.

You get one of the big two at the draft and the lineup looks a whole lot better and at least they will be watchable next year but you end up with the 3 pick you probably won't see him in the lineup for at least another 2 years. Which means another year of this crap! I'm not saying this thing is going to turn around next season but at least it would be worth watching. These last 2 years have been a total $hit storm to watch.

I would be thrilled to have the consolation prize. I'm all in for the big 2. Don't need another defenseman at 3. Marner is alittle on the same size and Strome is probably another 2 years away.

Darcy totally sold Maloney on selling off assets plus you throw in ownership issue's and you have a great situation in order for a rebuild.

If Doan is on the market, He is gonna be moved and then Arizona will complete the last minute Tank job.

I'm sure people will be upset if Murray doesn't get rid of these UFA's but if he makes calls or is receiving calls and nobody wants them what is he to do? Face it folks these UFA's we have aren't that great.

I will admit it as much as I want to see our UFA's gone that I just have a feeling that many teams aren't interested in most of our guys. Lets face it besides Stewart and Nievirth I wouldn't want any of the others if I were a GM. So it wouldn't surprise me at the end of the day that all are still here.
